Of course not, they have CB who can play outside this year. I don't even like Bowen at all. But you're nuts if you're not acknowledging that the lack of a decent outside cover CB at least led to the passive scheme last year. Take the L on this one. There are "receipts" from the other thread that others can bring up. -

Temperature Check on the 2024 Titans
rns90 replied to AussieTitanFan08's topic in Titans and NFL Talk
They are not talentless. They do have a lot of question marks and they did lose a fair amount of one score games last year. Just on "talent" I don't think they are the worst. It just all hinges on whether or not Levis can take the next step or not. They aren't building from scratch like WSH or some other team. -

Those type of defenses don't work anymore anyway. It's too slanted towards offense and the qb's can usually diagonose it easy and just get the ball out quick. -

Right. This is roster building 101. They had nobody at LT and basically telegraphed it was LT at 7. I think they would have taken Fashanu at 7 if the two LT were off. Otherwise Nabers at 7 leaves the LT and NT fucked. -

Forrest Gump? I just found it incredibly stupid how this dumbass basically got lucky his entire life. Also, I was quite perturbed that this film beat out Pulp Fiction for the Oscars that year. There were many movies made in 1994 that deserved accolades. Forrest Gump wasn't one of them. -

It's actually quite dull. I saw it once years ago in the 90s and never bothered to ever watch it again. I'd watch Forrest Gump again and I hate that film. -

That's why we have to figure out whether or not he can play in a qb/WR friendly system. That and outside of the top 3 there aren't any other WR that can play outside. 2024 is probably his last chance here to prove that he is worthy of a roster spot. He's flashed ability at times. But I'd definitely still look into WR cuts just to improve the talent level there. -

THat's why I kind of don't have hope for him. Hate to sound negative but it's the injury and the on field play. I mean you hope he puts it all together but more likely he'll just be another Titans WR bust. -
Jones is better than Boyd and offers more versatility. But yeah,, after this they need to sign one of those starting caliber S still on the FA market.

What I got out of this is that you could have accidentally choked to death while scarfing down a crappy Subway sandwich while waiting for the ambulance to come for your dead dad.

To be honest, I'd rather sign Jones or just wait for someone else to shake free. -
This is really dark and all but yeah having to care for an elderly relative with extreme healthy issues is very difficult. They are better off in a home whether they can get the round the clock attention that they need.

Did Zay Jones sign anywhere yet, that's the Boyd alt plus Holz knows him from JAX? -
I gotta admit to feeling a little guilty of using (and laughing) jokes making fun of this guy's personal tragedy. Now fire stories will always be an easy way to crack a joke about Farley...just like bad driving and Heap.

Seattle should just ditch the new unis. The throwback ones has this unique shade of blue that isn't really seen on any other NFL team. Also blows the current Hawks uni out of the water.
