I heard on 104.5 today that if a player is on the 53 roster 1 week before the season starts, then their salary is good for the entire year so that may impact these last few days of player movement.

As long as they're a vested veteran(4 accrued seasons) salary is guaranteed. Often you see vets added after week one to avoid the guarantee

Agendas and such. Plus the team has been so terrible that XR would even be a conversation.

If Restrepo had not played for one year with Ward at Miami, a fringe back end of roster/practice squad guy would not have generated the attention on here or on social media.  He's basically Mason Kinsey.

It wouldn't be except for the narrative that anyone who dares to think the guy is anything more than a burger flipper in shoulder pads is just an idiot homer. Also, some get off on the downfall of "longshots". Maybe it just a TR thing? Idk.
