His anticipation is why I knew without a doubt he was going to be the pick and there was zero chance we were trading out. The mechanics can be refined but anticipation is innate. In 2021 the Rams used 3 TEs 2 times all season. The Rams played 3 TEs vs the Jags this season 39% of the game, From that Jaguars game onward, the Rams were in 13 personnel for 323 of their 719 remaining offensive snaps (just under 45%). That was more than triple the 13 personnel usage rate for any other offense over the same span. He said teams should start playing these teams that line up in so much heavy based on down and distance rather than against the formation grouping. The Titans can easily shift personnel for the matchups where they will face more TEs. They don't need to fundamentally change their base package to do that or create a new position.
