Volson is a scary replacement to be sure, but I don't see any way this OL is actually worse than last year and certainly not the worst in the past 11. What is also true is there is absolutely a path where this OL is really bad this season and it sinks this team. There is also the darkest timeline where over the next two offseasons Borgonzi is looking not only for a starting LT but a starting RT. He still did have top level LT play for that 6 or 7 game stretch his rookie year. But yes, I agree with the understanding that the OL is treacherous as assembled. He played well during that stretch and I have zero concerns for what the media had to say about it. I watched him. His play noticeably improved. I'm not saying he was anywhere close to elite or anything, but he played well in those games and they give me a bit of hope. As for our hate for the pick, I promise you we don't have to check the draft thread to show you I went apoplectic when we drafted him more than anyone on that thread lol.
