Should they have kept Ran as GM for an extra year to maintain stability?

Should they have kept Callahan as HC for an extra year to maintain stability?

Prag definitely things we cut bait too soon on Callahan.

As long as Borgonzi is in charge of the football operations I don't care what they do

There's a lot of people who overhyped past changes to say Amy mishandled every single firing/extension/promotion and now any time a front office/coaching move is made it's completely overblown and pas

Should they have restructured the org around Brinker twice, just to have him leave?   There is no way to spin this.  I don't even care to get into a deep debate about it... its un unstable or with too many, constant moves at the top.

I honestly don't know what I think about Callahan.  Them firing him midseason showed a completely lack of discipline and accomplished nothing.  If he is as bad as everyone believes, we just would have gotten a higher draft pick.

This team has no strategic discipline and lack stability.

Meh, you are correct we likely would have got a higher pick of Callahan finishes out the year. The offense was at least functional the back half of the year though, and it gave Ward the opportunity to develop instead of the doors getting blown off every week. Games like the Seahawks and 9ers are likely complete dog walks with Callahan at the helm, just my opinion.

They didn’t “restructure the org around Brinker”.

There’s no need to spin this. Brinker wants to be in the personnel side of the business again and he wasn’t doing that here. So he is moving on.

I was making this argument a ton, and honestly I still look at Miss Amy as, and nice, but clueless nepobaby when it comes to managing this FO.

that said, Brinker was a holdover from the prior era of dysfunction.  His tenure made no sense when you consider the Ran dynamic.  He was oversold as some analytics guru also….the nfl sends lots of former players/coaches to Ivy League schools.

im slightly optimistic that they finally have real professionals in there….not just Borgo, but KZ and McKenzie….theyre are all guys who have done it before and likely have the clout to tell Miss Amy to sit in the corner and write checks while they run the team.

No it’s not.  The guy left on his own.  It’s a huge difference and has no bearing at all on organizational stability.  You’re arguing just to argue.

Come on scine.  You know people are always given the opportunity to 'step down' before they are going to be canned.  I'm not saying that's the case here but it certainly not outside the realm...

Why on earth is this even at 11 pages? Brinker stepped down because Borgonzi has most of the power in the organization now.

Brinker wants an opportunity that isn’t available here.  End of story

Some people seem to have trouble accepting you second sentence...

Whether that's the case or not, nothing in what happened with Brinker shows some "organizational instability."

Since December 2022, the Titans have:

  • Fired GM Jon Robinson mid-season while leading the AFC South at 7-5
  • Hired Ran Carthon (Jan 2023)
  • Fired HC Mike Vrabel two days after the 2023 season —
  • Hired HC Brian Callahan (Jan 2024)
  • Created a brand-new "President of Football Operations" role for Chad Brinker (Jan 2024) (This was two years ago!)
  • Fired Carthon after two seasons (Jan 7, 2025)
  • Hired GM Mike Borgonzi, who reported to Brinker (Jan 2025)
  • Fired Callahan SIX GAMES into his second season after a 1-5 start (Oct 13, 2025)
  • Ran Mike McCoy as interim coach for a 3-14 finish
  • Hired HC Robert Saleh (Jan 20, 2026)
  • Restructured the front office AGAIN — Borgonzi no longer reports to Brinker; both now report to owner Amy Adams Strunk; Borgonzi gets final say on the roster
  • Watched Brinker resign three months later (April 28, 2026)

Don't worry fellas.  This time it's fine.   Really.

He didn’t impact the on field product anymore. Tell me how his leaving impacts the quality of the team or their ability to win.
