The NFC Championship Game had the two best teams in the NFL.

This was true for much of the late 80's through the mid 90's.

The Redskins, Packers, Cowboys, and Niners were consistently better than the Bills.  A lot of those Super Bowl games were not even close.  Poor Bills...

But at least the Half Time shows of yesteryear were much more fun!

Love it. This game wasnt nearly as close as the score. The Pats were embarrassed. Fuck them and fuck the Vrabel stans.

I can't help but think as the SB winds down   Trump is a pedofile

If you can be honest-Drake Maye couldn't have won with Seattle's offense.  I think you must recognize game.  Vrabel got there without an offense.  Fact.  How much better could they have been than last year's 3-14?

I was thinking about Saleh and how will it workout for us.  If he can coach 90% as well as Vrabel-We are in for an awesome ride!  We'll have a better offense than today's Pats! IF Saleh gets that much out of a defense?  Can he get max out of our offense?  If he can, I really believe the Titans will be in the 2026 WC hunt.

QB is the X-factor.  When you get in a game like today's SB you gotta have one. I have seen Cam operate under pressure and not crack.  imo, he could have done better than Drake.  They reigned him in to help him appreciate how powerful the short game is.  We haven't even seen his A game.

This was not the same team that went 3-14 last year. They turned over 60% of the roster...only 22 remaining players from that 3-14 team. They went on a massive free agent spending spree, spending $100 million more than the next highest team. That combined with a historically easy schedule are the main reasons for the turnaround...not coaching brilliance.

Let's not fall for the idea that Vrabel took a 3-14 team and turned them into a Super Bowl team. Vrabel's a good coach, but he's not taking the group of players that went 3-14 to the playoffs...much less the Super Bowl.

What are y'all even arguing about? Is Jamal pissed the Pats lost?

Nah, people just can't help but be trolled even when I acknowledge that's what I'm doing. The angst and emotion is just oozing all over this thread.

Awesome!  The Titans have that much money.  That means we should have some pretty high expectations.  If Vrabel could do that-then we should be overjoyed.

I personally think it took a damn good coach to accomplish it.

For our resident moron. When you get to this game and fail its about the missed opportunity. Marino went in year 2 and never went back. Losing in the Superbowl is far worse than losing in the Championship game. Ask Titans fans which loss stings worse decades later... the loss to the Rams or the ones to the Raiders and Chiefs?
