Just curious what makes him an appealing up and coming coach?  Is it a situation where he's the non playcalling OC and has a lot to do with the offensive scheme?  Never heard of him until I saw his name in a tweet someone posted a few pages back.

The playcalling is a question mark obviously but you saw how good the cardinals offense was when he was there, how much it fell off when he left and how good the Cowboys offense got when he got there. He’s top tier in the running game at the very least. Widely respected around the league as an up and coming coach.

So for OC we have:

Kliff Kingsbury (interview Monday)

Adam Stenavich (interview Monday)

Thad Lewis (interview requested)

Unknown Candidate (already interviewed, RR compliant)

Brian Daboll (already interviewed for HC, unknown if he has to interview again or not)

"Mike and I are buddies. I can probably land him. And Daboll and I go way back as well. I'll get him if not Mike, for sure."

Titans: "Whoa, his plan for OC is awesome!"

Whoops!

Should've just hired McDaniel. Hiring a defensive minded coach and relying on them to pull in offensive minds is just playing with fire in the modern NFL. And considering you just drafted a QB #1 you would think beefing up THAT side of the ball would be the most important thing.

But sure, "leader of men" sounds like a good offensive game plan too I guess.

Schefter said earlier today that Joe Brady has been extremely impressive in his HC interviews with the Bills. Felt like Schefter was hinting that Brady was the current leader in the clubhouse for that Bills HC job ahead of potential interviews with guys participating in Championship Game Weekend.

Schefter not the first National Media guy to suggest Brady is ahead of Daboll in the pecking order for the Bill HC job.

Good hire Brady and we get Daboll as OC. You think Daboll might get hired by Raiders though

NFLN guys were reporting Davis Webb is a leading contender for the Raiders job.

If the Bills are waiting to interview guys from Conference Championship Week they have to wait till their season is over so it could be a while.

Yea tough position for titans. We can’t wait it out and hope. If things go well with Kingsbury we should lock him up

Yep, just go ahead and hire Kingsbury and then you can hire Daboll as QB Coach if he does in fact not get the Bills or Raiders HC job and doesn’t end up having OC options.
