Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

Yes.  I think Love does that a lot more but I do see the value in Tate which is why he is my second choice- even if I am not sure he is top 5 value normally for a WR.

It's not just Tate, though. Passing on Love means potentially drafting one of Price, Washington, or Johnson. Have you even looked at those guys? If you're saying Love + a day 2 WR or Tate + Price/Washington/Johnson it's not even a discussion. I'm taking Tate and one of those three all day, every day.

People are sleeping hard on those day 2 RBs.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

BC you value Tate as an AJ Green type WR.. I do not. I see him as a really good number 2. I dont want two really good players isntead of one great player.  I want the best player we can get as a cornerstone -  the most dynamic we can get to take weight off Cam.

And if we get the RB in 2 we are not taking a half dozen other guys who could help from OT, EDGE or IOL.

I would rather a draft of Love, Iheanachor and then Hurst than Tate, Price and then IOL

Or Love, Lawerence, Hurst

Or Love, Boston, IOL

No matter how you do the combinations for me- having an elite back who can go 90 recieve and take a lot more of teh offensive load is better imo

If we don't get Love-  I dont know that we'll go RB at all.  Pollard/Spears is servicable.   Selecting Love has never really been about selecting a RB.

Nope, love is the only rb to ever rb. You are just delusional with these thoughts of things like "options".

Not at all.. its saying I dont want to think so much about 4 years that we overvalue that to the immediate need and that's basically trianning wheels for Cam.    I want Cam put in the best situation to succeed for the next 3 to 4 years.. and worry about 4 yeras in 4 years.

The league changes so much in 4 years. 4 years ago JR and Vrabel were here and that feels like a lifetime at this point.

BC you value Love as a Gibbs type RB... blah blah blah. Just seems like the convo is going in circles now.

I've said I'm prepared to be happy with Love. Ya'll need to be prepared to be happy with Tate. Because he's as much a possibility as Love is.

What we have to remember with Wyatt is that he chooses which questions he answers and shares online which makes it interesting.

I found this answer the most interesting from Wyatt’s mailbag:

Question:

Hey Jim. We've done fairly well in free agency, no home runs, but a triple and some doubles. Defense definitely got better. Wan'Dale Robinson is a plus, but the offense needs more weapons. I think Jeremiyah Love has probably moved up the list to #1 on our board, though Fano, out of Utah, would be a great addition to the offensive line. I would go with Love and if by some miracle Fano is still available in round 2, nab him. Do you think Love is the right choice? Does the offensive line need more help? Do we go for the best player no matter the position? An exciting time as I see the team finally moving in a positive direction.

Answer:

Hey Rick. I haven't hid the fact I like Love, but the GM and scouts know more than I do. I'm not going to come straight out and say he's the right choice, because I know there are no guarantees in the NFL Draft. While I think Love is going to be a stud, maybe Mike Borgonzi & Co. have their sights set on another guy who they think will make a bigger, longer lasting impact. So, we'll have to see what the real decision-makers decide, not the guy who does the mailbag. As for the offensive line, it definitely needs more help. I think Austin Schlotmann could end up being the starter at center, but he's going to have to earn it, and he's going to have competition

Yeah that's a lot of detail from Wyatt. I wonder who he has in mind that's not Love with that possibility of having a bigger long lasting impact. It makes me think of Bailey

I've said many times I am ok with Tate. I have a whole post with my order with Tate second....

Same, but I don’t think Bailey makes it to us unfortunately.

It’s most likely Bailey.  Because the question right after that says they might take an edge rusher at 4 and that need will be addressed early.

So it won’t be all offensive players like some here have posted.
