Brinker chose to come here. he didn't fail up like Carthon did. if he didn't want to fire Callahan for the sole purpose of staying out of the fire, Stillman is an idiot for suggesting this, then he should resign immediately. Brinker is a top the football org just like he was before Callahan was fired. if this thing doesn't turn around with or without Callahan, AAS will/would have held him responsible and rightfully so Do yourself a favor and stop listening to Stillman SuperFreak90

He is going to be on the search committee, ask questions of Brinker/Borganzi, who they like, what the criteria is, whats the vision, how do we avoid hiring another dud, etc... Please me you don't actually think Brinker/Borgonzi or going to go off and conduct a search to find a HC by themselves and never discuss it with the Executives that run the team until they tell them who they hired? Lolz. My point if that everyone giving him a pass. He obviously had a say in Carthon, Brinker and Callahan. Go back to your CEO meeting and pay attention. Honestly with all the crazy talk lately about how Brinker should have total control with no oversight or input from the ELT or AAS herself, its hard to keep track

Collaboration…

Collaboration… There is absolutely nothing wrong with having the HC and GM report to a president or even the owner. Its a common setup these days. Lots of people misinterpret the collab model to mean no one has final say in their area and that its a free for all. Nothing could be further from the truth. TeamRamrod
The team is bad. All the angst about the structure and Brinker is because people want answers for why they are bad even though we know why.
Mythos27
The question of why the players are bad is easy to answer. We've had terrible drafts over the last 5 or so years that have hollowed out the roster. No mystery there. The mystery at least to me is who is responsible for advising/guiding Amy's football related decision-making at the highest level. Say what you will about Floyd Reese but 18 out of 22 players the Titans started in the Super Bowl were drafted by the team. Floyd screwed the salary cap up trying to keep the band together for another run. It's really unfortunate that Vrabel was such a pompous dickhead. Just look who sat in on the interviews when the hiring decisions were made. As for firings, same thing. Who were the immediate supervisors of the person fired? That's who she will seek opinions from. If there are differing opinions, then AAS decides, the announcement is made and everyone publically says they are on board regardless of whether they dissented in private.
