Here is a list from wikipedia of every nfl Head coach in history.

That page lists super bowl champion coaches. Coaches that made the playoffs... and then another list of everyone else.

The two list images attached are of Superbowl and Playoff coaches whose last year as an NFL head coach was within the last 10 years and aren't currently a HC in the NFL.  There are college coaches to chase too but I think they'd prefer a HC who has coached in the league. These are pretty much all of the ones available that had the most success.

There's plenty to easily cross off as retired / too old. You can narrow this list down too to fit what you think the titans will want.

Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

What about Brandon Staley?

-He had a decent couple years as a HC and made the playoffs.

-He's a Defensive coach but was a QB in college - so that satisfies the "can help all areas" qualification.

-He came on to help Herbert in Herberts 2nd year and Herbert had debatably the best year of his career.
-He's got a long relationship with Joe Lombardi who he brought as his OC to the Chargers and who has had success as the OC in Denver too. (shows he knows what a good offense should be)

- Was assistant HC at the 49ers last year
- He's young and has energy at 42.

I don't know his entire history with the chargers. It seems he was never liked though.

He went for it from his own redzone in a do or die game they ended up eventually losing and maybe that never set right with their fans.

They wanted to fire him after getting the #4 seed his second year then he lost to the Jags in a crazy comeback after both of Herberts WRs went down.

His 3rd season, most of the defense was injured most of the year and they fell off the map. Only 2 defenders started 17 games. Add in some O injuries and then Herbert went down with like 4.5 games left. They fired him after that.

He’s a retard. Absolute pass. When it comes to game management he makes Callahan look like a savant

I doubt there is a single ex-HC who won't come with a whole laundry list of red flags and horror stories

They are ex-HC because someone thought they had a valid reason to fire them. Weeding through the legitimate reasons and perceived reasons is the tough part.

Ramrod is constantly being brought up on all the titans shows for talking in the youtube chat, even i dont try and converse with those people.

Safe to say @TeamRamrod is in deep, pun intended

It’s a perpetual motion self-hatred machine and it’s a sickness.

Ok, but Phil Jackson was the Bulls/Michael Jordan's coach. Surely should've known his name before Riley's... lol
