Judging by the way he was chastising the offensive line in the clip that I shared, no offensive player would want anything to do with him.

If he looked like Wade Phillips, nobody would ever think to consider him as a HC again.  But because he's a big, bald, buff guy, people assume that he's a strong leader.  And I just don't get those vibes from him at all.

Feels like a correction back to the closest thing to Vrabel people can find.

But they forget that there was a reason we dumped Vrabel and there was a type that we wanted to go after - Innovative QB developing Offensive coach.

We shouldnt change our entire idea of what we want just because the last guy wasnt successful. The idea is still correct but the guy was wrong.

Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

I don't trust Mcdaniels.... another case of non play calling OC getting a HC job. Why would they trust him here?

I don’t think his play calling was an issue. He had multiple offenses that led the league in yards with garbo Tua lol

yeah but they had crazy Weapons and wasn't it sort of gimmicky?

That's the thing with their offense, with Tua being a kind of unique QB in some ways (short, kind of slow, weakish arm etc), and the rest of the offense being basically the same archetype (small/short, very fast, YAC guys), it's hard to say what he wanted to build vs what he built with the tools he had. I guess positive in the sense he tried to build something that maximized the tools he had.

Why is everyone in on Saleh today?  What article came out or whatever?  His Jets teams were atrocious. The only thing that matters is Cams development and he has never shown he could do that.

Brinker already stated that they think their process and what they wanted in a coach was correct last time. To me, that indicates an Offensive minded HC to have continuity in a system. Someone that believes in modern metrics and keeps up with working trends. Someone that has been a HC before and knows what it takes. Also, someone that has shown development of a QB before. I don't think they HAVE to call plays but if they do, they have to have shown success there before.

None of that lines up with Saleh.

Agreed but the alternative might be Nagy...which is a multitude worse

Here is a list from wikipedia of every nfl Head coach in history.

That page lists super bowl champion coaches. Coaches that made the playoffs... and then another list of everyone else.

The two list images attached are of Superbowl and Playoff coaches whose last year as an NFL head coach was within the last 10 years and aren't currently a HC in the NFL.  There are college coaches to chase too but I think they'd prefer a HC who has coached in the league. These are pretty much all of the ones available that had the most success.

There's plenty to easily cross off as retired / too old. You can narrow this list down too to fit what you think the titans will want.

Don't give me too much credit; I just don't don't find this part of the process interesting in the least. No shade to those that do.

Ramrod is constantly being brought up on all the titans shows for talking in the youtube chat, even i dont try and converse with those people.

Safe to say @TeamRamrod is in deep, pun intended
