Nobodies going to waste their time doing that lol. It’s obvious they get to the line late.

Ya but are they standing around in the huddle or are they waiting for guys to get there was the discussion week 1

PK and some of the fans vastly underrate what Simmons does. He's a straight up game wrecker and totally worth his contract.    He just turned 28, he's got 3-4 years left of prime

“WHY CANT THEY PROTECT HIM?!”   *by the end of the quarter*   ”WHY ARENT THEY TAKING MORE DIALED UP DEEP SHOTS?!”

Saying this team needs a win is the understatement of the century while I'm not in the camp Callahan is facing immediate job security concerns the pressure of continual losing does nothing useful for

Did anyone actually get the numbers on that like i suggested last week?

The NFL has been super shady the past few years about exposing data through apis. You used to be able to get all of this info, personnel groups, formations, motion, playaction etc... but they closed it off after the 2023 season. I suspect they are about to offer a paid version of nextgen stats. Check out the nflverse discord for info.

I wasn’t blaming anyone atm. Just noting that motion helps Os big time but ours can’t because of time constraints; regardless of if it’s BC or the players.

I would love to know what the issue here is. is it making the call, getting the call into Ward, Ward repeating the call, Ward not getting guys lined up, or simply too many new pieces who aren't on the same page yet.

@TheBukafax these damn charts lol. I'm not sure how to read this or what the source is but the idea the Titans play fast but don't run as many plays seem's off to me. maybe the sample size is too small? btw, @Callidus nflfastr is computer cowboys baby. good shit

Agreed. Im of the same ilk that more playaction and motion within reason is always a good thing.

But since it was brought up and then we got the coaches comment on it iv been a bit curious.

The amount of 3 and outs is what makes the team low on plays ran. I’m also assuming the seconds elapsed per play is actual game clock. It’s why the eagles are where they are. They run successful rushing plays at a high clip which burn a lot of clock. Titans plays generally fail so they burn less overall clock.

We also dont have any long runs or a ton of yac plays which bring down the play length.

There is a lot of history on the Titans relating to being 0-2, facing a 2-0 division teams etc... that favors the Titans.

I don't trust any of it though
