Gutfeld isnt a real late night talk show with celebrity guests and fun segments. It’s a zanier version of typical Fox News propaganda shows that air during the day. Hilarious that you would even consider it in the same realm as real late nite shows.

You have obviously never watched it

Lol, apparently somebody did as it was the #1 late night tv show.

There are problems with the Democratic Party but the Republican party has become a cult that is willing to abandon all previous principles and values to turn a blind eye to the truth and join a cult l

The  Fox News demographic not only doesn't mind being lied to....they actually demand it.       Remember the 2020 election when Fox made the mistake of announcing Biden won Arizona and the e

Why would I watch anything on a far right propaganda network? I’ve seen clips though. It’s nothing like real late night talk shows.

Typical left wing uninformed sheep. "I've seen clips" (probably posted by another liberal) so you know everything about it. JFC

Gutfield throws out sophomoric insults on a simpleton level that Fox viewers love. Of course right wingers love the show. He doesn't even pretend to be objective, it's all about owning libs with petty insults. It's the least surprising thing ever the political forums biggest moron would go straight to praising Greg Gutfield.

Anyone who watches anything on a channel that paid $800million to settle a lawsuit for pushing blatant misinformation is the real uninformed sheep in the room.

Remember, Fox viewers didn't care that Fox paid 800 million for knowingly lying, or even better didn't care their hosts were texting each other mocking how dumb their own viewers are or that they were all getting the Covid vaccine while peddling conspiracies about "the jab"....

What made Fox viewers start turning the channel is when Fox reported Biden won Arizona

So funny the guy who delivers mail, wears a name tag at 53+ and brags about working OT, calls the guy that retired at 40 "a moron". Classic TDS thought process.

I'm sorry I posted an article that shows viewership that doesn't agree with your little liberal bubble.

With all the lawsuits the liberal news sources you use are losing, it's funny you still quote the same Fox lawsuit from years ago.

Colbert deserves this, for sure. Pompous and arrogant, not funny, obnoxious in the extreme.

Gutfield has the ratings,  Colbert doesn’t.

That's not why he was cancelled. He was cancelled because he cracks jokes about Trump, period.

If Obama cancelled Gutfield there would be another Jan 6th

Bunch of things going on here:

1)  Late night TV is slowly dying in its current format.  So, while the Colbert cancelation has suspicious timing, it's probably the right move in the long run.  Cord cutting, online platforms, etc. have all added to the decline.  So, cut costs or cut shows and put something on that costs a fraction of the cost.

2)  It's hilarious to compare ratings for one show that airs at 10:00pm versus another that airs at 11:35pm.

3)  The key demo ratings (18-49) for these late night talk shows are pretty mediocre, at best.  On Tuesday night, Gutfeld brought in a 0.15, while Destination X (a reality tv show) scored a 0.23 in the same 10:00pm timeslot.  As an aside, the WNBA matchup between the Fever and the Sun scored a 0.29 in the 18-49 viewer demo.   The total viewers metric is nice for talking points and brand recognition, but the network is marketing to the key demographic.  It's why a show like Monday Night Raw (wrestling) can score a $5b deal over 10 years from Netflix.
