Titans signed Xavier Restrepo (WR, Miami) as a UDFA

Restrepo is a curiosity. In a season where you are certain you're going to watch bad football, a curiosity keeps the interest alive. The season is functionally over and we all know it.

If it goes this well i still think it was worth elevating him for a game.

He might as well be a bonus draft pick, so I’m giving him his own thread   https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Xavier-Restrepo-WR-Miami

Brain: He's a UDFA. It's worth a shot and costs basically nothing. Probably never does anything and likely doesn't even make the 53.   HEART: STEAL OF CENTURY. WARD AND RESTREPO CANTON BOUND

Or they liked him but knew he'd go undrafted with that 40' time so why waste the pick if you don't have to.

11 catches, 180 yards, 3 touchdowns his first game.

You heard it here first.

According to google the fastest tortoise can "run" up to 26 feet per min in short bursts. That would mean he was on the field with the ball in his hands for....

20.77min.

We are going to kill in the time of possession battle.

No issues if they gave Restrepo some snaps but WR5 needs to play St and he doesn't. he's not savior buried on the practice squad and the sooner the homers realize it, the better.

hyperbolic morons gonna hyperbole

Philips stepped in as a rookie and was the punt returner(which he bombed) and slot guy. In his first game he had 9 targets. That's not waiting for Philips to get his shot. He played 37 snaps in the first game of his rookie season.

The slot receiver spot has also changed, teams don't use the small shifty guys anymore.

And the real reason Restrepo doesn't get elevated when Kinsey and Prosche do is because he doesn't play STs, at all. Philips was a dynamite return guy in college. Restrepo did it a few times and was terrible. He's not on coverage teams.

So basically "fans" want him to get elevated on the 45 man roster and only be the slot guy. That's not how it's works. He's not good enough to take up a spot on the 45 and only play WR.

Kinsey played 22 ST snaps last week when he was activated

I joke around about it but it's actually pretty simple stuff. A team isn't going to activate the 9th WR who runs a 4.8 to "give him a shot" who doesn't even play STs.

Could you put this in bold or something?  Because I’m pretty sure it’s been discussed a ton and people still miss the DAMN POINT.

He’s a slow one trick pony whose importance is getting marginalized (slot reciever) and he sucks at ST.  Yet you have these people why asking continuously why they don’t give him a shot.

Because the coaches are trying to win the next game, including this Sunday, and want to play the better players, not the bottom of the depth chart like XR.  This isn't that complicated and has been posted multiple times.

Coaches get paid to win games and hopefully prolong careers and not experiment with the last guy in the rotation.

We get it lol. No one is screaming to play the guy. The team is a sewer right now. It's okay for some people to think the guy should get some snaps.

Yes, coaches prefer Kinsey to XR.  That's a commentary on XR.  Accept that XR is last and they aren't going to play the last guy.

There are repeated post to play XR, the worst WR on the team.  I'll let you decide if that is screaming, not that it matters.
