He might as well be a bonus draft pick, so I’m giving him his own thread   https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Xavier-Restrepo-WR-Miami

Brain: He's a UDFA. It's worth a shot and costs basically nothing. Probably never does anything and likely doesn't even make the 53.   HEART: STEAL OF CENTURY. WARD AND RESTREPO CANTON BOUND

His 10 yard split is worse than his OL like 40 times.

Not only is his straight line speed terrible he has no quickness, which is what playing slot is all about.

Most of his highlights he's not even covered

Kinda like Steve Largent.  Oilers had him and they said they felt he was too slow in 1976.  Goes to Seattle and goes in the HOF.

White collar by day, blue collar by night. He knows them white collar ho's couldn't find their way around a dick with a flashlight.

Never blue collar unless it's a dress shirt that happens to be blue......But white collar girls are just fine....and they certainly would not step foot in a Walmart!

Not without their disguise on, anyway...

There is a lesson in Largent and Rice.  Speed matters until it does not.  When it comes to the slot it does not matter than much.  Quicks do.

Rice ran a 4.6 but he hardly ever got caught from behind by faster players.  Largent never was the deep ball guy but he was Welker and Edelman before the position ever made.  There is a place for slow WR but they have to be elite in space and cerebral.  Largent, Rice, Welker, Edelman, all had off the chain football IQ.  We'll see what this cat has.  I think Burks and Chig will benefit more than this guy.

He was which is why Walsh took a lot of shit for moving up to draft a no name WR from a no name school.  The irony was another slow WR from a no name school also made the HOF from that draft:  Andre Reed.  Al Toon and Eddie Brown were the headliners in that draft both of their careers were ended by injury.  Eric Martin a very slow black WR was a stud for the Saints for a decade.
