Per this model, Oladejo will have a total of 6 sacks throughout his first 3 years

Projecting a guy like femi using math is basically impossible. He played only 7(i think) games as an edge rusher compared to 47 games played total. His edge rusher stats are going to be trash.

It’s gonna be sick when we out character other teams each week!

Definitely worth noting that they passed up Swinson on Day 3, who had the same pressure rate as Abdul Carter

The more I watch the more I like. He still hasn't fully transitioned to OLB. You can tell he still is used to reading and reacting. You teach him just to go full bore every single down and to stop reading and he's going to be a force. It's a projection for sure but he has all the traits you're looking for.

There was obviously something with him that the whole league thought was enough to make him fall.

Almost never works for these traitsy dudes moving to a new position.

Giant reach in 2. All projection and no real good tape.

He had 4.5 sacks and 13 TFL last year and tore it up during the Senior Bowl week.....

The big thing is looking at multiple years of stats to project NFL for a guy that only played 7 or 8 games as an edge.  From a height/weight/speed/effort standpoint, he's exactly what you want for an edge.

there's a ton of height /weight /speed guys that never make it.

its possible but functional strength and point of attack experience and a huge arsenal of moves need to be developed.

Even with his inexperience and age, his best game of the season came against Penn State - his best opponent.

If he was more developed as a pass rusher and the edge class was weaker, I could definitely see him going late in the 1st round.  He's no Chimere Dike, that's for sure.

I had time to think more about Femi and still feel unfortunately the same. End of day, there were multiple edge rushers with more experience and better production on the board. This was a reach.

He runs a 4.7 too so it is not like he is a traits guy. He’s a big, slow edge rusher who has no experience at his position . no surprise to me the scouts were fired after this draft. Unfortunately, I don’t think the new GM had his guys in place early enough to offset some of these picks. Next year’s draft should be much better now that many of the scouts were let go.
