Titans Offseason Program Discussion

If he plays decent enough in TC/preseason, why not just keep him as the 2 and if he happens to build up his value during the season, he could garner more next March.

That video wasn’t even in slow motion. It’s just Restrepo.

QB1 Mood

God help us if he opens up with 4 TD and 0 picks.....

I've thought about this question quite a bit.. Levis would do best in a system where the QB's decisions are pre-determined by coach, like the Chargers, 49ers, Rams, Green Bay, and quite possibly the Jets or Bucs.. The Bucs seems like the most likely to me just because the data suggests that Levis is already better than Trask..

Surely not the Jets. If people think he's got a nervous system in Nashville wait until he's in New York.

The 49ers, Rams, and Bucs seem like they'd be the best fits. The Rams especially since they're the closest to needing a QB. If they could reclaim Levis and actually turn him into something good they wouldn't have to waste a high pick on QB.

that's what I have been thinking.
everyone is so quick to ship him out of town, but IF he's showing actual improvement and/or Cam looks like he still needs a bit more acclamation, the prudent move is to hang on to him until Cam is ready or the right offer comes along.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just projecting where he might fit.. If Purdy gets hurt, Mac Jones likely gets the chance.. If Stafford goes down, Garapolo gets the start, but if Baker goes down,  Trask has been ranked as the worst backup QB, even worse than Levis..

Levis is a bad QB and they should get whatever they can for him. Maybe that’s nothing and they just hold onto him, but if they can get any decent return for him at all then I say ship him out to the highest desperate bidder.

Is he a better QB than Allen? Sure. But they aren’t winning many games with Levis and he’s not some capable mentor for Ward.

The difference this year is that Borgonzi is all about draft and development, and gathering assets.. if he thinks Levis may have some trade value, you can bet he'll try and harvest it.. but as someone posted above, most teams knew he was available during the draft and chose not to trade for him..

You don't want a gunner in the QB room

It is still mind boggling that the Vrabel/Carthon regime wanted Levis in the first place let alone were actually trying to trade into the first round to get him, imagine if they were successful and actually gave up move than the future 3rd that they did to move up in the 2nd round.

I really think this was the foundation for firing Ran. Rumors were that they wanted to take him at #11. The sleeping on the plane stuff was secondary. He had no respect for draft capital, and AAS was tired of that shit after Jrob

Vrabel doesn't get enough grief for his personnel decisions

That's because his poor personnel decisions are overshadowed by his poor coaching decisions.
