You don't have to agree but once truth slaps you in the face, perhaps a bit of humility should follow... And I wasn't completely sold on how the tariffs were implemented. Nor was I pro-tariffs as a whole. I just figured something had to be done about China and at least this president has the balls to do something. There's still time to figure it these moves will be good or bad long term. So you didn't like tariffs when they were in place and you don't like now when it's lowered. Something tells me you just hate everything Trump does regardless of what it is. It's interesting that it is the rich that ends up paying the taxes on imported luxury goods when tariffs are in place. I had rich acquaintances that would take every chance they can to flaunt their imported luxury goods. To them, separating themselves from normies to make themselves appear more exceptional is the name of the game. And some of them weren't that objectively rich. Appearances are more important than sustainability to some of them. Anyway, I wouldn't shed a tear if some of these people had to pay even more of a premium (tax/tariff) for the facade of superiority.
