I hate that this guy is making me want to vote for him.

My current ranking:

Josh Shapiro

Gavin Newsom

Andy Beshear

Pete Buttigieg

I want Buttigieg on the ticket, preferably as VP.

Trump is genuinely an idiot running the country. Like an extremely low IQ individual. Bush was dumb in his ways but this is another level. Fascinating to watch him with even less guard rails

The biggest grift is the fact the GOP explodes the deficit every time they gain control of congress and the Whitehouse. They want $4.5T worth of tax cuts for the wealthy. Guess who pays for that? the

So does Earl and the other retards.   This would spell doom for us in 2028.   Sadly, the US of A isn't ready for Pete.

Not even as VP?

Learn to accept it.

As I called it on him a long while back, he may be a car salesman, but at least he's a Mercedes salesman.

He's a tall white guy that looks the part in the made for TV movie.  And that is a really, really terrible way to pick a leader, but most of the time it wins based on oh all our history.  And his party needs a win in the worst way.  Not the time to get cute n fancy on 4th and goal.

If only he were say from Kentucky or Iowa or somewhere less California.   Will be so sick of hearing about that should he run.  Would say it shows how petty and parochial we are as a people, but we're already about 10,000 steps/day past that mile marker so whatever.

Tariffs just went into effect a week ago.

Inflation is just now hitting the producer level, still hasn't really worked it's way up the chain to the consumer.  Medicaid and Snap cuts haven't been felt yet. Job growth has stalled.  Not a lot of hiring or firing.

Trump still hasn't resolved Epstein, Ukraine or Gaza.  Where's the good news to change the trendline for him?

Like Beshear.  Think in many ways he'd be the perfect guy to help mend things the best they possibly could be.

But don't see him being dynamic enough to win.

Buttigieg has similar issue beyond the other non-starters for way too much.  My fav to listen to out of the bunch though.  I appreciate the high IQ/high integrity politicians.  Cannot imagine how they do it.

Shapiro a motivating speaker.  Can fire up the crowd.  Sharp guy. Always felt him as someone angling for more, means to a personal ends guy.  Could be wrong.  Haven't followed up enough.  Just the gut talking.

There is definitely an anti Cal bias.

This doesn’t affect Trump supporters, mind you…

The White House has authorized the Pentagon to use military force against Latin American drug cartels—but the sweeping directive also appears to violate the sovereignty of America’s southern neighbor.

Sources working in or with the Trump administration told Rolling Stone Thursday that the president is serious about attacking Mexico unless the nation gives Donald Trump “what he wants.” U.S. government officials just had one stipulation: Don’t refer to the intimidation campaign as an “invasion.”

“It’s not a negotiating tactic,” a senior administration official told the magazine. “It’s not Art of the Deal. The president has been clear that a strike … is coming unless we see some big, major changes.”
