And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

Didn’t he sort of say the opposite last week when he implied the pick wasn’t “available”?  Or something close to that.

Just because the Giants are making an aggressive push is irrelevant if the Titans have decided Ward is their guy.

On ESPN NFL Live today Schefter stated the obvious that he believes the Giants will continue to aggressively attempt to trade up to #1.

They don’t have a lot of good options at this point other then to go hard for Ward

I don’t remotely want him, there just aren’t any teams with a spare starting QB to trade

I'm right there with you. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

There’s no reason not to see how desperate the Giants and Browns get. Maybe they get just desperate enough…

we can take Ward or we can trade for a haul of picks, enough to build around the best available crap QB for one year. It's a pretty good hand to play and the closer we get to the draft, some team may jump up for Ward. Or we draft Ward.

Giants need to figure out which QB they are going to take on day 2.

I doubt their GM can afford to do that if he wants to try to keep his job. If he can’t get Ward he’s probably going to have to spend on a declining vet.

I have a genuine question: Do you think the rumors about the Titans possibly trading back suggest they aren’t all in on Ward, or are they just doing their due diligence?

I ask because I don’t recall hearing similar rumors about the Bears or Commanders trading down last year. If you’re 100% all in on Ward being THE guy, are you still listening to offers if you’re the Titans?

Well both the President of FO and GM publicly have said multiple times they are in a rebuild and need more draft picks for one.  For two, right or wrong, Cam Ward is not seen as good a prospect as Williams or Daniels pre-draft.
