You wouldn't get near as much for cam as you would the first overall pick. And that isn't an indictment of ward either its just the way the game works.

What do you think the Jaguars could get for Travis Hunter?  All Pro CB/WR.

It's just something about how good they are before they play at the next level.

I think it's obvious at this point the Titans are taking Ward. I'm on board and think his ceiling is pretty high. Callahan gave an interview to A to Z after the season that was super revealing about t

I'm totally fine with the Titans drafting Ward. Enough people think he can be good and he's shown enough NFL traits. It would not be like the Titans overdrafting Anthony Richardson or Trey Lance.

A middle of the round first is the absolute max I could see and idk if they would get that.

I'm tired of explaining that all this is just poor ownership.  She's putting the team and especially the young QB in worse and worse situations.  Cam has a lot of personal drive and incentive, but this is a horrible situation.

How's she doing that? Is she the one calling the plays on the field?

She's not hiring good football ppl (Ran) and she's not getting out of their way. She is absoultely part of the problem. nothing you can do bout that though.. is what it is.

This is a crappily run org.. and that starts at the top.

She hasn't hired good football people, or she hired a guy who was good for a while before he stopped being good. I know you have a particular bug about her, but it's not as cut and dry as you think it is. The early returns on Borgonzi is that he *is* a good hire.

As for it being a badly run org... it's a fluid situation. Winning will "cure all", even if it is a badly run org.

The org will have to succeed despite her and with luck.  Hopefully/maybe she lucked into Borgaonzi. Maybe he and Brinker can force their way to succeed despite her.  We'll see.

Why does she get blame for the bad but not the credit for the good?

She hired ran, he hired brinker, she fired ran and kept brinker who hired borgo. Even if it wasnt a direct hire she still set in motion the hiring of the good gm and signed off on it.

I try not to answer questions like this.  Reason-posters take a tidbit of what you say and begin an questioning on just that.  Then you have to try and reword what you meant.

Cam and bc had been working together as soon after the draft as they could.  They've talked and bc should have been laying out some type plan.  As a HC and QB jell, the QB(a good one) probably has some idea of the next call.  Cam's all excited/practicing 6am on what he's been asked.  Then the coach is fired.  In comes a new energy.

Now, if the new HC is Andy Reid it probably creates some excitement.  But just sticking in an assistant kinda says we are giving up and trying again next year.  As bad as bc was, I don't think Cam would have come off the field after a play and yelled, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?

I have said since bc's 4th game(2024) he didn't appear great for the job.  This year, he can't get the play calls in on time.  Who's fault was that?  Cam or bc?  Is that going to keep happening?  I think there's a bond between player/coach, rough to break it.  Change can be good or bad.  But too much change is usually not for the best.

Side Note::This is the second emotional firing.  "We are getting beat by the GD Eagles!  When I get back to Nashville, I'm firing JRob.  MF."  " Uh oh, we gotta play that GD Vrabel in two weeks.  He'll beat shit out of us.  I know, I'll just fire bc so people can't make that comparison of bc to his funky butt."

It is never just one thing.  I have repeatedly said I don't think bc was so special they had to hire him before "anybody else could."  I think top HC's available were hard for them to get to interview. If Mike Vrabel wasn't good enough?  The whole JRob-MV firing created a lot of questions about the Titans.  The best candidate out there would be an idiot to just jump on this job-if he believed he was the best.

Again, my concern is mainly for Cam and Cam's development.  They used to sit rookie QB's so they could watch and learn.

tldr.  Me neither.

She hired ran.  She then fired him.. fine.    But the she did the one thing you don't do when you get a franchise qb.. she fired teh coach in the middle of the season..    If that was even a possibilty- should have fired him when she fired Ran.  No one- including myself would have blamed her if she reset- particularly to pair with a new qb.

Then she didn't even have the discpline to stick to her decision this season. but fired the coach mid season which accomplishes nothing but express her ire. It made this season not only a waste but potentially a interim coach messing with your franchise qb.

Now.. we've got conservative interim coaches who want to win and prove themselves instead of focus on player develpmetn and developing any type of philosophy or culture.  They are trying to prove the next org they can be caoches.

It also means if next season isn't good, both Borgo and Brinker know their jobs are on the line and they are more likley to fire this new coach...    its just a mess.
