JRob's  three first-round picks from 2020-2022 will preclude him from ever garnering serious consideration for another NFL GM gig.   Wilson, Farley and Burks might very well be the single most useless

lol hearing QC talking about the importance of the OL…..

Next they'll have Meathead on saying someone should trade for Dillard!

Following up from yesterday: I’m told former #Titans GM Jon Robinson interview with the #Jaguars is currently planned to occur either Thursday or Friday, per source.

A league source believes Robinson will receive strong consideration.

@BudsOilers He won't seem so fat anymore when he's kicking our asses.

Yes but it's rare.  Don Klosterman was one - with Oilers, Colts, and Rams in the 60's and 70's.

Tom Telesco with the Chargers and Raiders.

Thanks for answering, Google was not particularly helpful with this question

Also I find it funny that the Titans have done so badly since Vrabel and Robinson departing that that is exactly why these guys are getting second chances, deserved or not.

Also it’d be funny if he landed a GM job after he took all of Amy’s money.

It was always pretty clear that Vrabel was seen in a more favorable light than Robinson nationally.  Sincerely doubt he'll get the GM job in Jax.  Man did he butcher things aside from a couple of good drafts.

I’m convinced he just stopped listening to people after he hit on Simmons and AJ. He apparently didn’t take injury history into consideration at all. That man had an unchecked ego to rival Vrabel’s, I’d bet.

Robinson got 6 straight winning seasons and some postseason success out of a mediocre franchise despite their owner sticking him with a bad young QB and HC.

Pair him with a good HC, and Jacksonville will rule this sorry division.  At least until he starts fucking everything up down the line.

Undeserved, that's not to say Robinson deserves a lot. Vrabel's status and past accomplishments are laughingly overstated

Strunk took over in March of 2015 and Mariota was drafted the next month, I seriously doubt she called the pick or was hands on on making them stick with him the first couplle of years. Robinson was given full authority over the roster.

She fired a coach mid-season because he couldn't protect Mariota.  She was clearly invested in him.

She did come out before the 2019 season and say that she envisioned Mariota as the franchise QB. Take that for what it’s worth…
