Tannehill stated he was in no rush to sign and would only go to the right opportunity (which may still come up this season). He said there was interest but it didn't feel right so he'd prefer to wait

Tannehill and Henry are remarkably similar in that when their surroundings are good and reliable they can play at an elite level but when things are shitty, they at least look worse than you would exp

A player like Tannehill would only be worth it for a team that lost their starter(Indy) and was in contention for a playoff.  Imagine if the Colts were pretty much already in the playoffs and Flacco went down.  Tannehill was the kind of guy who could come in and try to keep it going.  In reality he can't do that anymore.

Tannehill was a damn good QB, tough as nails and would do anything to win.  He threw an accurate very catchable ball.  He needed to stay upright and on his spot to do it.  He stood on his spot and took hellacious hits to complete his throws.  He took many more big hits than average QBs. He was tough, but in 2022 you could see the decline.  That's why his career didn't last as long as you would think for a QB with his talent.  Way too many big hits.  He's done.

A lot of it is injury related which is hard for fans to know. Tannehill’s knee clearly effected him the last 2 years but if completely healthy this year there’s no reason to think he couldn’t he a good starter.

Tannehill sucked in this kind of offense. And he sucked the last couple years he was here.
He had 2 TDs and 6 ints through 6 games last season.

If we are better with him, it's not by much.

The pass protection was the biggest issue by far.  He'd be better than either guy they have now with the better pass protection.

He had 9 good games as a Titan - all in year one.

He was average in year 2.

He was not good after that point.

The love that he engenders is beyond comprehension. Hate Vrabel. Love Tanne. Hate Henry. Love Tanne. Hate Ran. Love Tanne.

He gave us one season of real hope, two seasons of false hope, and one season of no hope.

He does have a hot wife. Maybe that is the attraction. But then, Levis has many hot girlfriends. So not that.

They never had a shot at Stroud.  Partially because they have fucked up the draft capital so badly...but LOL that ABT was just one guy.

Bro the entire lead up to the draft were people you called ABTers buying into all the smoke that we were trading up for Stroud.

There were other guys but that was the only one the board ever coalesced around. Levis was a 2nd round pick who still proved the point that the front office was ready to move off of him, not some kind of avatar for people unsatisfied with Tannehill.

Your constant spin that somehow you were right is amazing. Tannehill was actually worse than Levis last year, despite how mediocre Levis was.

That's not fair.  He had some good games in 2020 and some good moments in 2021.  Even in 2022 he had a couple of good moments and last year he was good against the Chargers in the second half.  I think he was always overrated on this board by certain people but he had a solid career as a Titan.

ABT started a year earlier and it was a littany of guys in the draft and FA.....and no they never had a legit shot at Stroud unless they were going to trade up to 1, which was never a reality.

And no Levis did not play better than Tannehill last year.

ABT absolutely was a thing and what you guys are getting now is well deserved.

You can argue 2023 was a trainwreck but prior he played between good and great.  2020 he had a 106 passer rating with 33 TD and 7 INT plus 7 rushing TD's and the team averaged 30 PPG.  That's average?  Wrong.
