I didn't blame anyone. I said the lesson from this ass kicking is not to go further left. The country is center right. I told you this 8 years ago and its still true to this day. While no one would have beat Trump or any republican for that matter this cycle due to inflation, dem messaging is broken and they better figure out how to reach non college educated voters again, especially young men. Going left isn't going to help with that goal.

You are miscontrueing what I said. I blame the voters first and foremost. All I said is that dems have an issue with perception of what the electorate is. This is 3 elections in a row where it's clear. The Obama Coalition is broken. Dems need to win back uneducated working class voters.

Eh, it's been cooked for a while now. As @Jamalisms mentioned there is a global shift to the right as people find themselves with less money and more immigrants that they're suspicious of. It's likely coming for you in Canada too in the next few years. Between the '08 financial collapse and covid, the entire globe is still reeling. We've also pretty much exported our particular brand of right-wing ideology so that'll be fun to see increase in your hometown!

Well, good morning everyone!

 

I have been watching MSNBC this morning because I thought it would be more entertaining. 

 

The numbers guy on the show pointed out that of all the counties in the US, Trump improved his numbers in 90% of them. That's unreal. Other interesting notes about black and Latino votes increasing dramatically. 

 

The others simply blamed fear, anger and misogyny.  I think it will take them a few weeks to really come to grips why the Dems lost.

 

People can debate the reason why Trump won. 

 

On a side note, what a bitch that Harris left her supporters out to dry last night and still has not conceded.
