The Daniels affair establishes motive for DJT's falsification of business records.       

 

Had the defense been able to convince the jury that the affair never happened, the prosecution's entire case falls apart.

 

But it sounds like Daniels' testimony did a pretty good job of convincing the jury she was telling the truth about the affair....thus establishing motive for the payoffs, which led to DJT falsifying  business records in an attempt to cover his tracks.

Your entire conspiracy relies on believing that a jury of his peers, that went through voir dire from both the defense & prosecution, listened to 3 weeks of testimony, while you've only read talking points from your far right sites, purposefully convicted Trump,  while asking for further explanations of charges & testimony, over two days to carry out some crazy far left agenda for a president that you claim has no support or chance of winning.

BTW, my hope is that Biden pushes Hochul to pardon him or reduce his sentence right before the 2nd debate. 

 

Biden can still call him a convicted felon while looking like the bigger person, asking for a fair fight, and making any of his attacks seem petty - "Hey pal, the reason you're not calling into this debate from Rikers is because of me, but keep complaining."

 

Meanwhile, let the slow wheels of justice continue to turn on the rest of his BS.

As far as the allegations about the jury being slanted because NYC population is 9:1 Democrats.

 

In 2020, Trump received 23% of the vote in NYC.....which clearly shows that the ratio is no higher than 3:1

 

It's also worth noting that in the 2020 election, roughly 3M votes were cast in NYC.....a city with a population of roughly 8.2 million.   The last census for NYC shows roughly 2M children 0-18 years old.....so that's 6.2 million adults.       Of these 6.2M adults,  roughly 3M of them voted in the last election......which is less than half of the adult population.

 

The MAGA folks love talking about NYC being a Democratic stronghold and how there was no chance of DJT getting a fair trial with an impartial and unbiased jury.....blah, blah, blah.

 

Bbased on the last election and census statistics, here are the statistical probabilities for the jury:

 

Statistics suggest a 12 person jury would likely be comprised of 9 Democrats + 3 Republicans.    In this case, the Democrats and Republicans all agreed DJT was guilty.

 

Based on the NYC voter turnout  (<50% turnout), we can safely assume that 5-6 members of the jury didn't even bother to vote in the last election.      Republicans would have us believe all New Yorkers hate Trump because of politics.....but the numbers show more than half of New York residents don't even bother to vote.   Yet we're suppposed to believe these non-voting residents were all part of this evil leftist plot to take him down?    

 

Maybe next time try turning off Fox News and OANN and putting down the latest copy of Epoch Times and find out what the REAL numbers say.     Because like so much of the other stuff those outlets talk about.....the numbers they've been quoting simply don't exist.

NY State law qualifies Falsification of Business Records as a Class E Felony.  

 

A conviction for a class E felony is worth up to four years in prison.

all this, plus just to reinforce -- Dems are just much less cohesive than maga-fied repubs.  True that Trump brings out the animus in a high %, but it's still not nearly as tribal or zealous as the repub counterparts.  and that's just guy off the street scenario.  The jury did go through a selection process, and one juror even felt the need to bail after an ominous right wing news cycle.
