I don't know that it will sway many voters toward Biden, but I bet it will convince a few to sit this one out. Trump was going to lose anyway, but this will give Biden some crazy ammunition leading up to the election. Can't wait for the debates lol.

That's the real danger for Trump and republicans....it could demoralize turnout.  Even a small decline could change the outcome.  And until the polls change to a strict likely voter model that effect will be unknown.

The hilarious part of Christians latching onto Trump is that if someone exactly like him was a member of their church, that person would be shunned and ostracized by the entire congregation.

Even if you argue that Trump wasn’t as terrible a president all the way up to October 2020 as maybe Dubya or one of the 2 shitbags immediately before and after Lincoln (James Buchanan and Andrew Johns

Trump's objective was to make Biden look weak, but now those tables are completely turned around.  Anything Trump says, Biden can and should counter with "convicted felon Donald J Trump."  Just say Convicted Felon Donald J Trump over and over and over.  That does two things: 1A) cements that factual title in voters' minds, and 1B) makes Joe look tough and Trump weak.

Former federal prosecutor Chuck Rosenberg, an NBC News analyst, said it's unlikely that Merchan would sentence Trump, 77, to any jail time, given his age and his status as a first-time, nonviolent offender. "I’d be very surprised if there's any sentence of incarceration at all," Rosenberg said. “Of course, he did spend a good bit of time insulting the judge who has the authority to incarcerate him.”

These LARPing clowns call themselves patriots, with this kind of bullshit.  The history books are writing themselves, Trump era = the dark ages of rampant perversion of American ideals for the worst demagogue to ever occupy the office.

His convictions won't change a single vote from the @Little Earl 's of the world.

Maybe some independents or undecideds will be effected....maybe.

When Trump and republicans repeatedly claim that trials and election are rigged, there are undermining the public's confidence in the rule of law and democratic elections.

I mean - that's no longer a convenient/opportunistic strategy for them. Its a necessary one for their own survival.

btw, someone wake up the Biden team and tell them to dump whatever bad news/dubious policy over the next 24 hours, lol

Its not bad news, but President Biden giving permission to Ukraine to use US made weapons offensively was made public around the same time.  I am sure Putin knows though, LoL.
