Levis named the starter moving forward

Some of us said that 2021 was a warning sign and he had stepped back. Some people blindly denied and said it was the same exact player.

Some of us said 2022 was even worse. Some of us still denied the gradual decline and said it was the same exact player.

Some of us said his play in 2023 was even worse than 2022. Some of us eventually admitted the truth that Ryan had declined ... but they still can't take a deep breath and admit the warning decline that happened before then.

If Ryan had declined, got replaced, and Levis is in the exact same spot, then what is next?

How is a promising rookie going to develop if he’s already on the injury report after starting 2 weeks?

New era begins.   Please declare yourself for or against in the comments, so we can figure out the new teams.

I would have joined the mob if he said anything other than this.   RIP Fanboys.  I know it’s been miserable being wrong at every turn the past 3+ years.  But @OILERMAN @BudsOilers and @oldsc

Sure. He just learned to suck over night. Oh wait, maybe it still wasn't his fault? You did say we'll get what we deserve now. Was he actually playing poorly? I bet you wouldn't agree he was.

There were record numbers of injuries and the Titans let go of a ton of skill players and the OL regressed as well.

It's clear that Tannehill hasn't been the same since the ankle injury but there's more to the story than just Tannehill declined.

Ryan did decline and was replaced.

Levis either grows into more than a promising rookie QB or he flames out and we waste years before drafting a new one. That's the NFL.

With this pass blocking every QB is going to decline and/or flame out.  Titans are wasting years not addressing the LT position.

Say Levis crashes and burns this year.  What’s your plan?  Get another QB?  Or fix the problem?

This team has had a lot of problems. Yes, LT is chief among them, but frankly QB was on the top half of the list too.

 OK you know the drill.

@tgo what’s your prediction for the 2023 W/L now that the “QB … on the top half of the list” has been addressed?

Oh man, I have no idea. Maybe 1 or two games better than it would have been with Tannehill if I was guessing. I think a 9-8 or 8-9 record and missing the playoffs is distinctly possible. Maybe 7-10.

LT a massive issue, TE is a big issue, Burks health is an issue, SMB's health, Autry's decline, Key's lack of run-down effectiveness, etc.

Their scoring cratered after Derrick Henry was injured.

Nothing is clearer than the fact AJ Brown getting injured the 2nd half of the season impacted the offense 100 times more than Henry. In fact there was no drop off losing Henry.

It was so obvious you had to add Brown to your ridiculous comparison to try and save face

After VY was out of the league scine said he'd still like to see VY start a season to see what he could do in the right situation.

If you didn't know at that point about QBs like VY and Mariota then you don't know anything.

And to defend those guys while trashing Tannehill's play is retard city

Maybe he actually learned and grew from his mistakes. Unlike some of the self-important "experts" around here.

I ain’t proving it, every person making a prediction is proving that Levi’s hasn’t made the team better.

You yourself refuse to predict a winning season.  You wanna talk about 2024 because you have given up.

So give up, GTFO, come back in 2024 or when ever you are ready to win.

I'm having a hard time following. The team was 2-4 with Tannehill. We had a losing record with Tannehill. We are 1-1 with Levis. If he ends the season .500 then we were better with him than with Tannehill.

He searching for some silver lining that no QB in human existence can be successful as a Titan or something ...

Ooooor ... the drop off from Henry was bigger than the drop off from AJ Brown and I added him to my sheet to prove that after people made erroneous claims to the contrary.

It's simple math. No need to be confused, just ask a 5th grader.

I remember how hard people wanted to ignore that. To a point where they complained about you posting it.
