Hell yeah! John Calvin & friends never burned "heretics" at the stake. Protestants never burned "witches". All the bad stuff was the Catholics fault! That's the ticket!

There's simply no defense for what has taken place. This wasn't a military encounter; this was terrorism plain and simple. There's a huge difference. It's unjustifiable and has setback peace for decad

The 6 billion was Iranian money from prior oil sales and held in South Korea.   In addition, it wasn't turned over directly to Iran.  The money is to be used for humanitarian purposes and pa

Wasn't sure where to put this but I think it relates to a general macro-topic on Islam, oppression and world relations, so I'll put it here:

The Dutch just elected a leader who wants to cut immigration to the Netherlands to zero, hold a referendum on leaving the EU and ... ban mosques and the Quran.

Islamophobia is a huge issue and certainly comes up in relation to the Gaza-Hamas conflict. At times, it seems people only want to talk about antisemitism but both are significant-sized and significant-degreed problems the world needs to reconcile.

Yeah, that's an unfair criticism Biden gets all the time.  He's definitely not quick, but he's not senile either.  He does look old and I think it's fair to question whether that demeanor does justice to the most powerful office in the free world.

Would you go to an 80yo surgeon?

Doing some elementary math, you love to say you donated to Carter's campaign as your claim to unbiased worldviews while harping on Cuba... clearly you're not too far off from 80.

So no, I don't think many people would enjoy attending or subjecting themselves to your medical practice.

Safe to say, no one is happy with either candidate's age, but they're 3 years apart. Idiotic to have a double standard on this topic.

I did not contribute to Carter because I had no money. I voted for Carter in 1976. My first Presidential vote.  I am 68. My practice is just fine.

And Trump is close to Biden’s age but anyone with any brain or honesty could tell the difference in energy and appearance between the 2 in a heartbeat.

Yes, one is 3 years older, has very stiff joints, and tries to, if not accomplishing, activities that a lot of the younger population, unfortunately, cannot do. He also makes frequent verbal slips.

The other is overweight and loves fast food while making just as many slips in speech as any candidate in history. He may have more energy, many aging people do in instances, doesn't mean they're all there or well physically.

Anyone with a brain could tell this isn't ideal and still discern that neither is LeBron James.

68 is as far off from 78 as your earlobes are from your asshole or your hand is from a drink, not that much difference.

It's the height of hypocrisy to criticize Biden's health and mental acuity while being fine with Trump.

I do think there is a point about how Trump presents himself as more assertive and has a bigger presence, but he was mentally impaired in his 20s, and it hasn't gotten better with age.  He's also a striking image of what you don't want to look like as a self-respecting human being, much less the leader of the free world.  He's everything we warn our kids not to be and everything health-conscious people try to avoid.

He's an embarrassment to the country and was an embarrassment as POTUS.  It is one of the great moments of shame in American history that we allowed American politics to degenerate to the point where our only choices were Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and we actively chose Trump, even over far more qualified candidates on both sides of the aisle.  Any argument that criticizes Biden while propping up Trump is simply being willfully ignorant of reality.  Trump is the WORST president in US history, and there have been some doozies.
