Assuming for sake of argument that we did get an MLB team, where would the stadium be? Unless the Nascar track south of Nashville is still used heavily for other things, maybe there? With a bunch of mixed use attractions to help draw tourism dollars?

Theres a ton of room in germantown still.

I just wish a football team would move to New York. What New Yorker is going to freakin JERSEY to see a game?

That stadium is only 8miles from the hotel I stayed at in Manhattan and it took an hour and a half to get back after the game lol

Eminent domain.  But this site is already earmarked for other uses in the east bank redevelopment plan.

I'm actually somewhat impressed that it was only an hour and a half! Lol.

Most NYers don't have a car, and I'll be damned if I take a Port Authority bus to a "NY" game.

Also you can't beat Yankees stadium experience, everyone on the train to the stadium and the energy around the stadium is unparalleled.

I honestly think the majority of ticket holders have to live in Jersey. Maaaybe Staten Island.
