lol, some no name dope gets you all riled up.   And if you gave a fuck about others you would also be against minors mutilating themselves.   Earth to dumbass, the majority of kids straighten themselves out by the time they become adults, and the majority of adults that undergo sex change end up regretting it.   But let’s not let the facts get in the way of parroting this losing leftist narrative.

Your problem is that you are a sucker, much like most of the audience for right wing propaganda.

You act like there’s some wave of kids getting sex changes out there and clutching at your pearls. Simply isn’t real. Boys aren’t getting their dicks cut off to become girls. Kids aren’t getting gender reassignment surgeries. They are prescribed puberty blockers and change their clothing or wear makeup. And if they change their mind later they can do that.

If Republicans limited their argument to saying we should ban gender reassignment surgery for minors, that bill would pass Congress in a heartbeat. Democrats aren’t for kids undergoing surgery with permanent changes either. But Republicans don’t want that. They want a made up issue to campaign on, and they know suckers like you fall for it hook, line, and sinker every time. Just like they know they can lead you by the nose on so many manufactured social issues…

Here's the part that gets me with all the "trans kids" stuff:    you've got these do-gooders protesting and creating legislation to eliminate "gender affirming" treatments...while at the very same time demanding full control over their own kids healthcare decisions, education curriculum, religion, etc.

So as parents, they want the ability to have complete control over their kids' lives.....while at the same time fighting to keep other parents from having that same level of control for their own children.

So all these trans kids that people pretend to be so worried about protecting from themselves.....is YOUR child on of them?    No?

Then it sounds to me like you need to just back the fuck up and worry about what's best for YOUR kids.... and allow other parents to do the same for their kids.      If and when they need your opinion or input, I'm sure they'll ask you for it.

Chris Christie:

The grift from this family (Trump) is breathtaking.

A lonely, self-consumed, self-serving mirror hog is not a leader.

Let me be clear in case I have not been already. The person I am talking about, who's obsessed with the mirror, who never admits a mistake, who never admits a fault, who always finds someone else and something else to blame for whatever goes wrong but finds evevy reason to take credit for anything that goes right is Donald Trump.

And so now we have pretenders all around us who want to tell you ‘Pick me cause I’m kind of like what you picked before, but not quiet as crazy, but I don't want to say his name'.

Looking at a few clips from Christie's announcement and he's going right after Trump completely unvarnished by appealing to reality and basic sensibilities.  Additionally, he's calling out the other repubs running for playing along with the Trump facade -- mocking the entire inauthenticity of the repubs and the RNC.

Very unlikely that Christie makes it past the first few primaries…but at least he’s showing that Republicans can call a spade a spade and acknowledge the reality of who and what Trump is.

Other candidates are hesitant to speak the truth about Trump for fear of alienating the MAGA crowd,   Christie already knows he’s a long shot…he has nothing to lose by simply acknowledging the reality of the situation instead of dancing around it.

Seems like his plan is less about winning and more about attacking Trump. Maybe he thinks that’s a winning strategy somehow, but even if he does torpedo Trump I don’t see the bulk of the party is going to support him. They would just run to DeSantis.

The dust is still settling, but so far CNN's viewership is still in the toilet after the town hall -- lol at Chris Wallace's show pulling less viewers than Newsmax.  Putting a lying pos like Trump in his element did not bode well for their core audience. In parallel, post Tucker Fox is still getting crushed, too.  Trumpers and repubs writ large continue to demand grievance filled narrative over fact-based reporting.

More than a week after CNN’s disastrous town hall with former President Donald Trump, the negative impact the fiasco had on the network’s ratings is coming into clearer focus. Last week, the cable news pioneer suffered its lowest-rated week since June 2015, averaging just 429,000 total daily viewers from Monday-Friday. CNN was also down double digits compared to the same week last year in both total viewership and in the key advertising demographic of viewers ages 25-54. MSNBC more than doubled CNN’s daily audience, drawing 976,000 total viewers, while Fox News averaged 1.4 million.

Fox News was down 41 percent in the key demo year-to-year and 24 percent in total viewers, having seen its ratings plummet as angry right-wingers flee after Tucker Carlson’s shock firing. In fact, Fox’s post-Tucker weekday demo audience is the lowest it’s been since the first week of September 2001. Ratings data show that primetime is where both Fox and CNN are suffering the most. Since the town hall, CNN has seen several of its weeknight hours—including Anderson Cooper—fall behind Newsmax, the fringe-right channel that has surged since Carlson’s ouster. And on Friday night, the channel’s much-hyped interview show hosted by Chris Wallace averaged only 224,000 total viewers at 10 p.m., drawing 60,000 fewer viewers than Newsmax’s offering.

While Fox News still led in both total and demo viewership in weeknight primetime last week, the conservative cable giant’s overall audience was down 38 percent and the demo viewership dropped an eye-popping 60 percent. MSNBC, on the other hand, saw its demo audience shoot up 44 percent.

CNN ousts CEO Chris Licht after a brief, tumultuous tenure

CNN ousted chief executive Chris Licht after a tumultuous year leading the struggling news network that culminated in a damning magazine profile and the growing realization that he’d lost the confidence of the network’s journalists. The change was announced at CNN’s editorial meeting Wednesday morning and came just two days after Licht said he would “fight like hell” to earn the trust of those around him.

David Zaslav, CEO of CNN parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, appointed a four-person interim leadership team, and said at the editorial meeting that he would conduct a thorough search for Licht’s replacement.

Licht had a mandate to try and make CNN more palatable to both sides of the country’s political divide; Republicans had become increasingly suspicious of the network following repeated attacks by former President Donald Trump. But some at the network saw Licht’s mandate for change as a repudiation of their past work, and a live town hall interview with Trump last month drew widespread criticism.

How idiotic was it to attempt to pander to Republicans who already hate you while simultaneously losing the trust of a large percentage of your viewers?
