She was committing a felony and endangered the officer. She was also likely close to a secure location. Mobbing close to a federal government SCIF is just begging for the undertaker. Black or white. Sorry.

I guess I have more sympathy for her being that she was a woman. It’s a shit situation regardless.

I’m unapologetically conservative, at least fiscally, but these people are fucking crazy. They are a real threat and should be taken very seriously. I’ve heard about Qanon for a while now but I’ve nev

The police need to start firing tear gas and rubber bullets like they used on peaceful protesters over the summer.

Who was the poster whose wife voted Trump? Good, smart guy. Lawyer. Wonder how his wife is taking this?

She said what happened yesterday was awful and disagreed with it. She then tried to “both sides” it. She claims to be in the middle, but I just don’t buy it. She’s not a hard core Trumper; she just voted for him. But that doesn’t excuse her vote.

Ask her American or Fascist? That's where the line has been drawn.

The U.S. charged 55 people with crimes stemming from the siege of the U.S. Capitol perpetrated by a pro-Trump mob Wednesday, including a man who was arrested near the building with a semi automatic rifle and 11 Molotov cocktails, the Justice Department said.

The other cases include charges of unlawful entry and assault, Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, said at a news conference Thursday.

More charges are expected in the coming weeks. “That’s a good start, but in no regard is this the end,” Sherwin said.

I'm not saying all cops are bad, but we know that there are cops who are basically on the side of the insurrectionists.

I fully expect capitol police officers to be fired after the investigation.

I can kind of understand it from a psychological perspective. If they start a gun fight against armed people you’re talking about a possible bloodbath involving Senators and Congressmen. As they’re leaving the property why further instigate the situation?

With that said, fuck those cops. You don’t want the job then resign.

There's that but the article I posted is about how the FBI had found "police links to militias and white supremacist groups in states including Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia."

So I was speaking more literally. There are some cops who are literally on the side of these guys.

remember how pre-Trump the FBI was actually saying right wing domestic groups were the biggest domestic threat we have. Trump disbanded the group working on it I think.

As I said earlier, they should have opened fire after the mob breached the chamber doors. I get abandoning some posts to evacuate the congress but you can't let terrorists into the chambers of congress.
