I think so. He may be blowing smoke up Robinson's ass to get him off his back while he makes a decision or something. Regardless, fuck Beasley. GTFO of Nashville ASAP, whether it's sooner or later. kgsTitan
Callidus
If we don't get a good reason why in the next 24hours Idk. I thought he was an ok signing and I don't care anymore even moreso than jd who I did not want to start with. But this is turning into a whole new clown show. IDK. Jrob said the reason was unexcused. If he was seriously determining whether or not to opt out, I would think that is an excused absence. Covid is certainly serious enough to give a player the right to determine whether or not to opt out.

Starkiller
As long as he reports eventually and plays this season, I really don’t care. But this is going to hurt him on his next foray into free agency when he is looking for a big new deal. Mythos27

On the one hand, he could avoid hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. On the other hand, it would force him to wait another full year to hit free agency again. And he would have to basically play for just over $1m next season. In the end, I don’t think he opts out just to save the fines. It would cost him more next year than he would save.
