The foremost experts that said we shouldnt wear masks or that this virus was anything to worry about 4 months ago? Those foremost experts that keep changing their stances? There should be 2.2 million dead if those foremost experts were infallible.

ask yourself who really acted like the virus was nothing from day one and ignored the advice of the public health experts. Its not who you think but since you are nothing but a sheep, this conversation is lost on you.

This is the damndest thing....  Trump supporters making fun of Biden's mental status.    Seriously.

MERS killed 866 people worldwide. Again, basic math.   Btw, in an entire year, the flu kills 3,500 - 15,500 in the US. They suspect some cases aren't identified and so they estimate up to 61

The effectiveness of masks is not agreed upon science. Also, what type of mask? Homemade ones are not that effective and can give people false senses of security.

When you make  blanket statements like you did, it just shows you know nothing and lack nuance.

From the very first paragraph of the article you posted without reading:

Editor's Note (June 2 at 11:30 a.m.): A paper discussed below has been retracted by the journal the Annals of Internal Medicine. The authors wrote that their statistical methods could not determine whether the findings were reliable, making the results of the small study "uninterpretable." The study had found that surgical and cotton masks do not effectively contain viral droplets containing SARS-CoV-2. Subsequent research has suggested that face masks are an effective method for containing the spread of the virus, used along with staying six feet apart from other people.

Many recent peer reviewed studies published in numerous medical journals have confirmed that masks are effective.

But you won't read any of this because you will continue to believe whatever your dear leader tells you.

Keep reading the article.

Again, you turds keep thinking I am against masks. I am not. I wear one. I am pointing out that not all masks work and therefore making them mandatory is giving false security.

I joined this conversation saying case counts are misleading and not what is a good indicator of this virus since most people are asymptomatic.

Cases != Indicator of virus?

Got it.

Yeah, ok, I worded that a bit wrong.

Cases are not as good of an indicator as hospitalization and deaths.

I'll give you half credit for making fun of me.

Regardless of how many people test positive, over 512,000 people have died worldwide and over 130,000 of those were Americans. That's about 25.4% of all covid deaths worldwide. Is that a good enough indicator for you?

Not sure the point you are trying to make here.

People not wearing masks and not social distancing are primarily the young and protesters. Calling out people for those activities is only allowed when its conservatives doing it.

Here's something that trips me out.  It's happened a couple times already and I don't go out all that much.   Sitting outside a store in my vehicle and this redneck looking guy wearing a mask walks by and gets ready to go inside.  BUT FIRST, he has to pull his mask up and SPIT on the sidewalk. lol  Then, he pulls his mask down and goes inside.  Few minutes later, he comes back out the door and does the same ol' spitteroo on the sidewalk again.

So, if this guy has Rona, no telling how many people might accidentally walk in his spit and get his Rona filled saliva on their shoe.  Then, in their vehicle.  Then, inside their house on the floor.  Then, they take their shoes off and walk barefoot and get some Rona on their foot and who knows where they go after that.  The couch, the bed, etc.

Point being.  This spitting redneck might have infected half of his whole damn county, by the time his spit has dried up on the sidewalk!  But yes, he was wearing a mask!  Well, sort of.  Rona... Rona... whos got the Rona...  *spit!*
