ESPN and Sports commentators just love to show "aerial offensive porn" on their shows because showing 4-6 yard runs isn't as exciting. You guys kill it with yards but this isn't a game of yards, its a game of points.

If you take out the games that Mahomes missed, then you see that the Chiefs with Mahomes scored more than the Titans with Tannehill.  

 

If you look at the points per game when the Chiefs had their left tackle it jumps about four more points.

 

If you look at last weeks game, you see the Chiefs scored 51 points.  That was one of few games that they had their entire offensive line and all of their offensive weapons.  Hill, Watkins, Mahomes, Williams, Fisher, LG, and LDT all battled injuries.

 

It will be an interesting game tomorrow.  The weather will not favor the passing game due to the wind.  It will be interesting to see if that will slow the Chiefs offense.

@dcblanton these are the two best offenses in the NFL.  There's many factors in favor of the Titans, but Mahomes has the bearing of a champion.  A great QB can overcome a lot.

 

The best case for the Chiefs is to floor the offense and never let off.  A close game favors the Titans.

I actually think the Chiefs need to make sure to take long sustained drives that gives their defense time to rest.  Henry is a beast.  He gets stronger because the defense wears down.  Keep the defense fresh.  Rotate the d-line and linebackers as much as possible.  Play man.  Make Tanny beat you.  

 

Depending on how the game is going, I may go for it on fourth down more.  I would have to be about the 40 yard line of the Titans, honestly.  The Titans got fat off short fields against the Ravens.  Can't allow that.

Not only this but the Titans put up 35 on the Chiefs the first time they played them, before they really figured things out on offense.  35 is the most points any team put on the Chiefs all year because they mostly faced only okay offenses.  

 

I mean, when you face the Broncos twice and they score 3 and 6 points each meeting and then have the fortune of meeting the Bears who manage another 3 points, it tends to skew stats.  

 

Good offenses put up points in bunches on the Chiefs.

 

Jags put up 26, Ravens 28, Lions 30, Texans 31, Packers 31, Titans 35.  Honestly, I think they need to be worried about our offense and how to slow us down because their defense ain't that great.
