I always enjoy this & apologies if somebody posted it in a thread already. This is FO's ratings of edge rushers, the formula involves workout numbers like the 40, the vert & broad jumps, and the 3 cone, as well as sacks & passes defensed, which is weighed in a lot.

Anyway, Landry & Davenport are the top 2 when weighing in draft projection but Josh Sweat actually had the highest rating. They also really like Nwosu, who had a ton of passes defensed. Also some on Hubbard.

I also think Davenport is going higher then some think, his workout was awesome.

Pretty interesting though, they discuss a few guys we may be strongly considering....

That was.a good read.  Thanks.  I'm really not wanting anything to do with Hubbard even more now.  He seems like a slow ploddling lockjaw.  it's really hard to tell who will be there for us but it does seem likely that there will be a talented edge guy there for us.  The draft can't get here fast enough..

I'd guess that I've seen more sacks than anyone...and not necessarily from gay intercourse! Most of them came from that terrible, horrible shot that most porn "directors" seem to NEED to show. You know the one---where it's straight up man-hairy-ass-crack-and-taint flopping back and forth while he's penetrating some skank. I guess the "director" thinking is that, "this will be a super hot angle of the dude giving it to her!" But, in reality the shot looks more like caterpillars surrounding a nutsack while bobbing in the ocean tide.......SEXY.

I’m happy these posts are consecutive.

Hubbard screams Dodd 2.0 to me. I'd be extremely disappointed if he's the pick.

I agree about the lack of twitch & explosiveness but at least Dodd had big time production his last year.

I personally don't think there's much of a chance of us taking Hubbard though. I think people see a hard working, smart white guy & think "Patriots" because of Robinson, but he's already shown he has his own way of doing things.

They are spot on about any edge rusher with a explosion number under 1 is not worth drafting anywhere close to the first round.

He’s a pointless pick. Dodd has just as good of a chance becoming the SLB as Hubbard. We need an EMLOS/WLB in the worst way.

I can't imagine Hubbard playing Orakpo's spot at all. We need speed off the edge. Both might be gone in a year, but if we extend one, I'd like to extend Morgan. Still only 29. Think he's got a few good years left.
