abenjami
Let's add a third option to this scenario. Would you rather have a bat, knife, or both?

First off this is one of those “you already lost” situations. I’d take the bat on the very slim chance of annoying the beast by hitting their face. But again, I’m not taking any of us in this matchup except for the death pool.

titanruss
You're fucked either way, they are essentially both a bat and a knife + brawn. Though the animals may be more afraid of the larger visible bat in that scenario and probably not see the knife as a threat.
