No way on Butler, too old to push the money out and not enough upside on a restructure.

I love his heart and tenacity but he’s a cut, as is Vaccaro.

One of my sick pleasures is reading the other teams game day threads.......

Good Lord, Colts fans are the absolute worst.

They blamed the officials and injuries, even though we had just as many.

He’s having a borderline Pro Bowl type season. If they keep Saffold, his contract should be up just in time to retain Nate Davis.

This is even more impressive considering he has only been a starter for 3 of his 5 seasons. Let’s hope he can get a few more before the season is over.

The Mount Rushmore of NFL running backs. Yet I'm supposed to believe Dalvin Cook is better? Nah. I don't give a rats ass what he does out of the backfield, Henry is the most talented runner and most dominant force in the NFL period. There's no other player that affects a defense even close to the way he does, and nobody has ever possessed his skillset mixed with that size and speed, and durability. The dude doesn't even get tired in-game.

I went back to game logs and he has actually done it in his last 33 games. Thats impressive.

Starting to think that Kelly may be kept given Wilson’s struggles and the fact that he’ll likely miss at least the first three games of next year due to suspension.

Carter has proven to be one of the better position coaches on the team. As is unheralded long-time assistant OL coach Mike Sullivan who Whisenhunt brought in. He’s the longest tenured Titans coach now (with Watterson da God gone) and does a great job.

They need to start with canning whoever drafted Trubisky over the other options.

Teair Tart looking encouraging of late. Future starter potential on this kind of defense imo. Or at least a solid rotational guy.

    Butler - $10.2 million
    Vaccaro - $4 million
    Kelly - $3.4 million

Humphries if you trade him $7.25 million

The only decent rookie WR we ever added post-Mason (and pre-JRob) was Drew Bennett, and he was an afterthought UDFA who was converting to WR.

At least he was better than Paul Williams!

And who can forget trio of Roydell, Roby, and Jones while we’re at it.

Who remembers Titans WR great Chris Davis, selected in the 4th round in 2007. Lasted 2 seasons in the league.

SAY HIS NAME NATE DAVIS, not "the right guard." Davis is looking like a stellar find by the Titans scouts and great OL development coaching.

    ....from that espn article:

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is another person whom Quessenberry became close with during his cancer battle. Vrabel was linebackers coach and defensive coordinator for the Texans while Quessenberry was there. Vrabel respected how Quessenberry did whatever he could to help the team while he was sick and also took time to help the coach's son Tyler, who is now a starting left tackle at Boston College.
"He was acting as basically a coach and was being held accountable to the O-line coach,” Vrabel said. “He helped with the young guys, he helped with meetings. In the time, Tyler would be around lifting and talked to him about a position change. It was something that Quess took really seriously and came to him very easy to be able to help and coach. Tyler just took in everything that he was teaching and coaching.”
