Trying to make a judgement on Ward after a disastrous rookie season and a few preseason drives is ridiculous.  People need to slow down trying to determine whether or not Ward is a franchise QB or a b

Its like people forget the progression we saw last year. That why I'm still optimistic with a real OC and staff, he'll be worth the pick.   First Half (Weeks 1–9) Completion Rate: 57.6%

It's far too early to determine where he'll land.  All of what you point out is valid.  He was in an awful situation surrounded by poor talent and coaching.  This year, there's no question that on pap

Don't get me started.  Boomers remember grocery stores.  Manager. Cashier.  Bag boy will carry your bags to your vehicle.  One job.  Two job.  Three job.  That ain't shit for my big time ass. But those little income sources helped families.

I got $0.50 a week allowance in the 1950's.(don't give me no circling the drain bs.)  The matinee movie was 0.10, hot dog 0.10, soda 0.05. popcorn 0.10--giant bag 0.15

One job.  Two job.  Three job.  Do not exist.  We were dumb then.  Today we(you) is stupid.  The goal of our system was to keep the people housed and fed.  It was our system.  A chicken in every pot.

This isnt wisconsin....

Downtown and midtown its very common to pull in 1-2k per night

There's no actual good insurance - if any, no real growth, no stability, no mental development. or good sleep, or anything to brag to your fancy friends about... its shit on your body, cant do it at the level till you are 65.

But I have a lot of friends that started out that way and now own parts of several major bars around town. 1 girl was pulling in 155k in 2010 at red door. She now is the main holder of 3 very productive restaurants. Granted, it was like 75% cash/tax free tips back then

Its a good gig in nashville. bumfuck wisconsin probably not.

One good thing about Boomers is that they'll be dead sooner than later.

Modern medicine is putting this to the test

AI Overview

Yes, a bartender can make $100,000 or more a year, but it is rare and requires working in high-paying environments. [1, 2, 3]

While the national average for a bartender is closer to $33,500 in base pay and reported tips, hitting a six-figure income is possible under the right conditions

Downtown Nashville is those conditions. And like I said it was only a couple years. COVID did a number on the entire industry, but 18 and 19 I made a killing.

I saw Reddit threads where people made 100k in Nashville

I've made 100k+ 12 straight years delivering mail, 120-147k 6 years in a row
