On 3rd down Washington will have Burks, Chig and McNichols on the field. If Daniels misses time Mariota will be the QB.

I have no idea what to expect from Brown. I know you better be careful trading with the Eagles.    Brown is about to turn 29, couldn't practice much because of the knee and hamstring issues.

Great job by Eagles. Trade a late 1st for AJ Brown. Get 4 years of top production and a SB from him and then trade him for a 1st.   Well done.

And the Cow College tard army has started its attack. It’s Private TaterTard who screamed CHARGE. Let’s see if this post will remind him of his responsibilities on this board or will it be deserted for the next several hours.

Dont we know that Ran was stopped (from above) from trading Henry in his final season?

Yeah, I think PK reported it. Henry being the face of the franchise wasn't allowed to be traded in a year where we were collapsing.

I defended the trade at the time. I Still think AJ wanted out but Jrob also wasn't willing to pay top dollar. The gap wasn't massive but it was enough.

Side note, why do people keep calling the 18th pick in the draft a late first? This feels like using language to make the trade sound worse than it was at the time to make it seem more obvious how bad it was.  Most of the people who do this also leave out the 3rd round pick which is not some throw away value itself.

As for Amy vetoing the Henry trade, I don't think that was ever "confirmed". We had a couple media people say it and I wouldn't be supprised if she did but this feels like conjecture even years removed.

I was not fine with it, but I was also under the impression that Brown forced his way out to go play with his butt buddy. I still somewhat think that to a much smaller degree, but I just hadn't woken up to how much of a goober ass Robinson was. I was still thinking he was a competent GM doing his job.

Ajs public messaging wasn't nearly as bad as was made out to be

Hey Oman, see what one good wack with the tard stick can accomplish? It can manipulate a retards way of thinking. Now he has to prove his tard army can fight on many different fronts. PopTard says he can provide the internet pacifier but only ME can make it work to his advantage.

The AJ trade will continue to haunt the Titans when Burks blows up in Washington

I don't have much faith in that but it would be hilarious.

It's mid-late if that distinction matters; back section of second third.

3rd is flavoring on top of the 1st. It's not inconsequential but it's not where you're getting the true replacement and even national narratives at that time started to emphasize how WRs are easier to find so draft and dump was being promoted over paying them. I've always considered it close enough to straight up to frame it that way conceptually.

If he can find a way to stay healthy it's absolutely a possibility.

I'll take your word for it, but I don't recall the particulars. If someone else wants to drudge them up then more power to them. I care less and less about AJB as time goes on.

I guess. Its 2 spots away from the middle of the round. I would think most people would consider something like 1-10 early, 11-22 middle, 23-32 late.  Give or take 2 spots for each group.

The trade could be defended more at the time vs. in hindsight since it worked out so horribly. People never mentioned AJ Brown missed 50% of the snaps the year he was traded.

Whether Amy actually did it wasn't confirmed but there was a real trade of Henry that was nixed

If one would’ve bet a $100 in 2020 that Jeremy McNichols would still be on an active NFL roster in ‘26 the payout would put them in Elon territory.

I know it's crazy

But 3rd down RBs do have value. He actually looked pretty good last season in that role
