The Patriots get to be absolutely destroyed again while everyone will be talking about Vrabel/Russini. I love it.

One schedule reform that I'd love to see is that your first three and last three games of the season are against divisional opponents. This way you get to take the teams on when you're healthy at the

Raiders - Battle of the least two #1 picks. 

Giants - Daboll and players return and includes the Harbaugh offseason drama stuff. Battle of Cam/ Dart

I honestly doubt the league cares enough about the Titans to schedule a “meaningful” game for us week 1. We are an afterthought. 
 

That said, a Giants or Jets revenge game vs a former head coach might appeal to them.

Last year they handed the #1 overall pick in the draft maybe the toughest week 1 assignment possible at Denver with their top 5 defense and a ridiculously good early season home record.

It’s completely random.  I’ve been trying to tell you all that for years.  Unless it’s a premium game like KC at Buf or something similar, the games fall when they fall.
