Daboll's move to Tennessee also interrupts his ongoing interview cycle with the Las Vegas Raiders, where the candidate seemed to be gaining some significant traction after an initial visit. Whatever happened behind the scenes, though, the Titans clearly made the stronger impression. Mostly just found the coincidence amusing. I like the Daboll hire (I think its happening even if not official). I dont know if the Titans are set for long term success but I feel good about the next year or two. I suspect we may wish we had just hired Daboll out right as head coach in two years. (or McDaniel). But we'll see how Saleh goes. Maybe the set with an "offensive CEO" will work great.
