Hyperion
Phoenix local news was profiling Love last night. My guess is it's a smokescreen but maybe their interest is genuine. I think they'll be able to trade down though simply because I don't think their price will be unreasonable. Pragidealist

Anyone trading up to 3 is more than likely taking Bailey/Reese The only thing that makes sense to me is that the team that has interest on the pass rusher believes the Titans will take Love even if Bailey/Reese is available. If that is the case they can likely trade with the Browns or whoever for less trade capital. If the cards take Love off the table, the likely scenario is the Titans take Bailey/Reese. Meaning that team has to trade with the cards if they want Bailey/Reese. It's alot of hoops, but it is all I can come up with. This scenario could also be where our Styles over everyone else could be coming from as well. Pragidealist, and airmcnair22

What need is for them to lie about it? Anyone trading up to 3 is more than likely taking Bailey/Reese To see if they can get the Titans to trade up? The Cardinals drafting Love at #3 fails the roster construction test on every level — and it's a far worse decision than the Titans making the same pick at #4. Start with the cap. The Titans enter the draft with $15.2M invested at RB in 2026, but after Pollard and Spears both walk they're at essentially $0 in 2027. There's at least a legitimate argument: short window of Pollard productivity, then a clean reset where Love slides in as the cost-controlled centerpiece. The Cardinals have no such logic. They've already signed Allgeier to a two-year $12.25M deal, reworked Conner for 2026, and Benson is under contract through 2027. Drafting Love doesn't replace existing investment — it layers $20.7M in rookie costs on top of a room that's already committed. You'd have four backs eating $33-34M combined in 2027 with no clean way out. Then there's the infrastructure problem. Arizona's line went from a projected top-12 unit to finishing 28th in sacks allowed and dead last in rushing yards per game. Love's value proposition on a rookie deal depends on generating surplus production — you don't get that running behind the worst rushing line in football. Tennessee finished 11th in offensive line play and is trending in the right direction. That's the environment where a rookie back generates the cost-controlled value that justifies the pick. And then there's the elephant in the room: the Titans have their quarterback. Cam Ward is in place. The Titans drafting Love is still a debatable positional value decision, but at least the foundational question is answered. Cardinals may do it.. but it would be surprising. Its a far more aggressive version of negating either Love's fit in the traditional positional value argument, or ignoring it completely. None of this means they won't do it, of course. . airmcnair22

It's the only reason anything leaks at this point. BeedoeLaw

I don't see it as odd. We have an oline trending correctly and a qb in place. We invested heavily in defense in FA. We lack offensive plamakers more than anything. Cardinals oline was worse than ours and not trending anywhere positive with no Qb. I have no idea where their defense is tbh.
