I think the Titans were listening to offers e.g. the Giants, but I'll be the first to admit I don't know the timeline of when the Titans actually stopped listening to offers compared to when Scheffty reported that

I do think it's interesting that after the combine is when national media started the Love to the Titans message. Almost like someone wanted it to get out....

Borgonzi mentioned Gibbs when asked about Love and Love has had multiple touchpoints and meetings with Tennessee. The interest is legitimate.

My question is why is Adam Schefter going the opposite way?

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

lol

Love is at least an elite pass catcher and 3 down RB.    I'm torn.    He'd be the best RB by a mile since Earl   Plus I'm already itching to turn on him

Forget Schefter, Wyatt was still plugging that the Titans were still interested in trading the pick at around the same time.

Wyatt was one of the smart journalists, finding a landing spot before the implosion of traditional sports media. If he has to serve up some chum for the team every now and then, I totally get it.

I just heard a stat on the radio for all of the no RB that was drafted in the top 5 has won a Super Bowl with the team that drafted them.

Since 2004 there have only been 5 players at any position that were drafted in the top 5 that won a Super Bowl with the team that drafted them.

What does that tell you?

Edit: Credit Zach Lyons with the stat

Nothing. Because that’s not the real argument against taking the position that high.

As I thought last week we will start to see more mock drafts with the Cardinals trading out of #3.

These mock drafts are so retarted. LOL at the Titans taking Styles with Bailey still on the board. I'm all about the player analysis and rankings, but for me mock drafts are a useless waste of mental energy.

McShay on his show today said there is healthy debate going on in the Titans building with some pushing for Jeremiyah Love as a big benefit for a 2nd year QB but others (Saleh) pushing for going towards a defensive pick.

I find that really hard to believe lol
