AAS is a very good owner. Not sure why this keeps getting rehashed. Vrabel, Robinson, Carthon, and Callahan all deserved to go for various reasons.

Schefter thinks it down to either Nathan Scheelhaase or Jim Schwartz for the Browns HC job.

Are they chained up in a basement somewhere? Has to be a hostage situation.

Doesn't look like it.  😕

NFL is moving more towards entertainment ala Wrasslin' and the NBA.

It’s obviously been heading that way for a while now, they even have the shitty refs that are on par with the NBA.

I'm going to think of it as "it's only the Pro Bowl" and no one has taken it seriously in decades.  Likewise, this will be a reliable media talking point.  So, the NFL "wins" with more coverage on an event that they want to boost and with Sanders there, people may tune in due to all the media coverage.

The Browns are probably holding Schwartz hostage... either take the HC job or be forced to work for whatever lackey agrees to take it.

It was only popular for years because most people liked the free trip to Hawaii.  After that it’s basically on par (or less) than a preseason game or worse.

I mean, Schwartz should take the job.

Of course he would if it was offered, but I don't think it's a given he should. There's no other NFL job that's more setup to fail than Cleveland and he won't get another HC shot if he's not successful.

A lot of speculation that Scheelhaase is the Browns #1 candidate and they are in LA today trying to close the deal.

He's no less qualified as a candidate than Callahan.  Who apparently was a very hot one according to posters here.
