It's not woe is me. It's stop coping and holding on to phantom improvement that isn't really happening. Any improvement that is even possible is likely weeks away. It's stop looking for other people to blame. In the game thread yesterday people already decided that McCoy is terrible because of that decision not to be more aggressive (I disagreed with the decision btw). Some are saying Cam is suddenly not ready to play, Whispers about firing Brinker have started. It's annoying. We're not going to fire our way out of this.

Bullshit. The offense was clearly better in the 1st half when the game was in balance and only fell off once they were down big which is where the roster issues become glaring. If you can't admit the offense looked better in the 1st half not sure what to say. its just a bad take, a rarity for you.

PK said the Titans should have "honored" Vrabel and he and Buck went to Vrabel's postgame presser instead of the Titans   That's some seriously embarrassing cock gobbling   Honor h

It's panic time for Latham. He's got to improve the rest of the season. As of right now he looks like someone who needs to be replaced

They scored 13 points. They got blown out. The fans were chanting the name of the coach we fired 3 years ago. They've looked decent for other stretches of time throughout this season and even last season; that means little. We haven't turned any corners. Just by the nature of the NFL we might even win a game or two. The worst coach of all time in Callahan managed to win one this year and 4 last year so it's possible but it means NOTHING. Having some nice stretches and even a win or two means next to nothing. This team has no meaning outside of watching the young players develop and getting ready for the draft.

What has meaning is developing Ward. He looked night and day in that first half running the base offense against a real defense and not prevent like we saw against the Cardinals. I'm not sure why you're dismissing that so easily.

Not sure what the issue here is. no one is saying the offense is now on par with the 99 Rams. But its flat out wrong to claim the offense didn't look better with the changes they made this week. Once they were down 18 halfway through the 3rd, the game plans goes out the window and now they have to pass which exposes the OL and lack of weapons. Normal shit.... This woe is me the roster is so bad we can't be honest about the incremental and positives from the game or worse, acting like the Pats figured it out and shut them down because the talent is bad is just plain wrong. Two things can be true; 1. The roster sucks and gets exposed especially when down big 2. the tweaks made led to improvement for the offense and the QB

The offense was encouraging and concerning to me this week. Clearly they jad a better script this week. They did everything that worked in the past and even got some other things like screens to work.

The concerning part is once they ran out of script, the offense turned into dog shit again. Idk if Bo just has no idea how to actually make these pieces work, if once teams adjust they have non response, or if there isnsome underlying thing killing this offense.

Clearly they can move the ball even with the entire skill group outside rb being rookies, and it seems like McCoy knows how to make an opening game plan. Will this expand in coming weeks with more time to tailor things to his liking? We will see, i expect some more progress but idk if they will ever get over what ever the hump is that they keep crashing into. This year that is.

Seeing how comically incompetent the Titans have been both before and after he arrived, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Jon Robinson get another chance somewhere - which  GMs rarely do.

If he was going to get another shot I think he would have already been hired. He had some brutally bad drafts down the stretch...

again, the offense moved the ball consistently on their firs 4 drives, Ward had his best half of the year and they scored 13 points in the 1st half which was just .8 off their game average in 2025. I don't fault the offense for sucking the rest of the game once they were down 18 in 3rd quarter. That means the pats D didn't have to respect the run or Play action and could tee off on Ward which like I said, exposes the main weaknesses of the OFF roster, OL and weapons.

Do I expect the offense to drop 21 points in the 1st half next week against the colts and become a top 15 unit the rest of the year? of course not but for a hald when the full playbook was available to them, they looked better. Why we can't admit that is beyond me...

That's rarely how it works.  GMs usually get 1 shot.

Vrabel took a lowly consultant job on the Browns when he was fired.  But when teams saw how bad the Titans were without him in 24, he was suddenly so desirable that he was given control over the roster.

Just like Vrabel, I think teams are intrigued as to how Robinson would perform outside of the dysfunction of the Titans.

I did say they looked better...

Idk if i would say they were good the whole first half. The first drive stalled after a great start.

The 2nd drive was perfection.

The 3rd drive got derailed by a penalty but wasnt exactly inspiring either.

The 4th drive was decent.

Last possesion if the half we can just ignore.

Thats an improvement for sure but i still stand by once the script ran out things started to go down from there.

You are 100% right the 2nd half got out of hand quickly but it wasnt till after the 2nd titans drive ending in the fumble td that things were really out of hand and the pats could tee off.

which was better for the most part than what we've seen all year. It would be hard not to with the floor being so low.

I was busy yesterday and was only able to catch the first half.  I have no idea if the offense is overall better or not but at least we just looked like a bad team instead of a bad and embarrassing one!. By the looks of things skimming the thread I'm guessing it didn't last through the 2nd half though?

The offense looked better in the 1st half, just like it looked better in the 4th quarter of the Cardinals game we actually won. The 4th quarter was uncharacteristically good play and we promptly came back down to earth. Early yesterday was good and then we promptly came back down to earth plus the other team figured out our simplified offense. This will continue to happen because this is a team that cannot sustain good play long term and cannot overcome anything going wrong. The reason they can't do these things has less to do with whose coaching and more to do with how badly the players are playing. It's really that simple and it's tiring having to keep arguing with people about why the latest coaching change that makes them feel better won't amount to much.

LOL ..... Robinson was the dysfunction and the league knows it. That's why he's unemployed almost 3 years later even at a low level.

Because it got shut down very quickly and he went right back to looking like he did under Callahan.

Remember Robinson trying to dunk on the Titans on Instagram a week or two ago? "I guess it's all my fault. #WeAss"
