The first 28 minutes gave me a bit of hope.

 

The last two minutes is just another example of just amateur hour  clock management we've see all year going into halftime.

 

It wasnt really a clock management issue. It was a conscious decision to not even try to score.

I guarantee the #1 mandated agenda for the rest of this year was to develop Cam Ward…not go for wins.

There is no defense in being a coward. I’m sure Ward didn’t want to just give up and let them go into half with the lead knowing they were getting the ball.

I think the wind was probably a factor but yeah not even attempting is a choice of cowardice

First half recap. I hate the end of the half disaster of clock management but there is a ton of positive to take. 

 

Players seem to still car. Cam having his best game of the year. Finally getting Dike involved. Play calling seems to have some thought behind it as calls are being made with looks from prior calls in the game. 

 

Ultimately the rest of this year is to build for Cam. Ayo, Dike, and Helm are getting a ton of experience for the future.

I didn't think Maye would be anything special in the NFL.  I thought he'd bust. Damn was I wrong.  He's going to be Top 3 at some point.  He's special.

He’s playing against one of the easiest schedules in the history of the NFL.
