I don’t think the board is perturbed by Nagy. It’s the fact there is a high probability the process was a sham.

 

Out of 20 candidates what is the probability Borgonzis good friend is the best choice? Pair that with the cringey Nagy PR run. Then there is the theory about how once a candidates second interview is set up it comes out we are really interested to watch them go get hired.

It was from around lunch today, so prior to the Stefanski news, but PKs latest video he was really pumping up Saleh.  
 

The timeline would definitely make sense if that’s the case.

I’m perturbed by Nagy. But I’ll agree if he is hired I will be more more perturbed by the process.

100% this. While nagy isn't near the top of my list he also isn't a worst case scenario. The fact they are likely making a mockery of the process and treating the fans like a bunch of idiots who will believe anything is the real issue.

Since we're going to kick off the second round of interviews soon, I wanted to resurface what Borgonzi initially said he was looking for in the next HC:

 

-Asked what qualities he's looking for in the next head coach, Borgonzi said: "It has a lot to do with leadership. It is having a clear vision, having standards for what you do, and then having that person not be afraid of conflict in a negative way, but being able to hold people accountable is the biggest thing, throughout the whole building, staff and players. And that person has to ultimately connect everybody in the building. … And they have to have a strategic vision in terms of philosophies and Xs and Os."

 

-Borgonzi said the team has done a lot of work on the candidates, and "we plan to bring in the right coach for this team long-term, that is going to work with us to grow this team, to get it better, to really instill a culture here. … We need a leader that is going to show up every day to work and really just instill that belief, instill the attention to detail, accountability that we need here, and the unity piece to bring everything together here. … The intention is to get a head coach in here that is going to be here for the long-term, and to win a lot of games."

Not sure how that all ended. Wonder if the guy who tried to carry it on at the end ever thought of a path forward? Anyways too much time on the sidelines now. That site has went the way of Jake Locker and AOL.

I just saw Stefanski went to Atlanta

 

Heres how things are going to play out. 

 

Hafley will get the Dolphins job tomorrow and Nagy will be announced as the HC on Monday. 

 

The Titans know we don't want Nagy and are purposefully scheduling 2nd interviews with other candidates after other teams to allow them to sign with them before we can bring them in to make it look like we settled for Nagy when Nagy was the dude the whole time

 

They may announce Saleh getting a second interview a day or so after Nagys scheduled but it won't happen
