I didn't know anything about this guy, only been seeing mentions in my TL. It seems like he decided that his career should just do a 40 yard dash straight off a cliff.

Idk about HC, but he might work out as an OC here. I wouldn't let him anywhere near the defense though. He has none.

His clock management skills make Mike Mularkey look like Jeff Fisher.

My thoughts.   I post infrequently nowadays but do want to do so tonight.  I have vacillated with each new entry into the HC/OC sweepstakes.  I studied what I could with available data on ea

FWIW on F Words Zach Lyons just said he heard the interview between McDaniel and the Titans went “very well”.

Until you've reached the pinnacle of life financially, professionally with family and friends and then risked all of that as well as your reputation and legacy on some hedonistic fling you have not lived.

There's a lot of chatter that Kingsbury doesn't even want to be a HC and is happy being an OC.

Kingsbury definitely does not fit their "Leader of Men" criteria, imo

We'll see though, I initially thought he'd be high on their list but haven't heard a peep connecting him to the job yet.

Be honest, you haven't heard a peep of any of these guys actually being connected to the opening. Its all conjecture and dot connecting based on previous jobs. We dont have any real reporting on the search yet.

We literally do have reporting

no you don't, you have projection and conjecture. there isn't a single piece of sourced reporting that has connected anyone to the job.

It’s sourced - the league sources are just engaging in a level of informed conjecture.

This is the fun part of the coaching search - enjoy it

I read that last link.  Here’s what it said (I skimmed through it)

Weaver was a candidate first mentioned by Russini in October.  Interviewed by NO last year .  Which was where Ziegler spent the 2024 season as a member of the Saints Fo.

Weaver was in MIA in 2024 where Reggie McKenzke was.

Both those guys COULD recommend Weaver to Borgonzi etc.

It’s just conjecture and nothing more.  Heck, Kuharsky’s little note about Saleh being interested in the Titans and Dolphins job is better than this.

Marcus Freeman’s future

The New York Giants have a list of candidates for their head-coaching vacancy. I’m told the names on it include Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak … and Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman.

I also expect Freeman to garner interest from other NFL organizations. The 39-year-old has spent the past four years leading Notre Dame, taking the Irish to the national championship game last season. Last December, he agreed to a lucrative contract extension through 2030. And though he has never coached in the NFL, his leadership, people skills and ability to thrive in one of the most high-profile jobs in the country are what’s drawing the interest of general managers and owners.

Sherrone Moore is starting to grow on me

Gotta admit , the year ended on one of the most fucked up entertaining cases of someone flushing their career and livelihood down the drain in a while

He didn’t just cheat on his wife .  He knocked up the other woman .  And forced her to have an abortion, allegedly.  And stupidly increased her pay.  Then stalked/annoyed her enough that she basically went to the Michigan athletic department with “receipts” of their affair.

it doesn’t end there! He goes to her apartment and grabs butter knives (loool) and scissors and threatens to kill himself.

The other woman /victim has some disease.  It was chronicled like 10 years ago since her dad is in the Bears scouting dept.

also she is allegedly fat and has no ass.

He also fired her....lol Gee I wonder how that would work out

Yes, this is conjecture - conjecture which they first saw posted by me several weeks ago. Then Braden Gall picked up on it and talked on air about how Weaver is highly thought of in the Titans building, and now several of the local yocals are picking up on it.

Conjecture is very fun, you should try it sometime.

Actually, "projection" is a word that I've seen mentioned for it as well in this thread. Some people (myself included) get paid lots of money to make informed projections on a daily basis. It's loads of fun.

You guys ever heard of mock drafts? They're pretty cool and fun in the offseason too, and funny enough, they're actually used and aggregated by NFL teams close to the draft to project possible picks because some of the draftniks actually get league information! Amazing.

In sports, you can also pick which team you think will win each week based on the information that you have and essentially "betting" on the outcomes of different variables, although sometimes unexpected things happen and it doesn't work out the way you would think. It's tons of fun, very interesting phenomenon.
