Starkiller
3 hours ago, Little Earl said: LOL that there is no evidence James broke any laws. James falsified her residence status to get better loan rates. Facts show she does not live there and instead collects rent. Furthermore James and her father signed mortgage documents in 1983 stating they were husband and wife. I’d ask why you believe such stupid shit, especially since there has been no trial and zero evidence was made public, but we all know why… https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/fannie-mae-officials-saw-no-evidence-mortgage-fraud-against-letitia-james-filing-2025-11-17/ Senior fraud investigators at Fannie Mae believed there was no clear evidence to prove that New York Attorney General Letitia James committed mortgage fraud, according to new information disclosed by James' legal team in a filing on Monday. The filing, which asks a federal judge to dismiss the criminal charges against James on the basis of outrageous government conduct, reveals some new details about how people inside Fannie Mae viewed the investigation into James and the role that Trump ally Bill Pulte, the nation's top housing regulator, played in shaping the probe. In June communications between Fannie Mae's Director of Mortgage Fraud Sean Soward and Jennifer Horne, the vice president of financial crimes at Fannie, Soward expressed concern that the case was "certainly not clear and convincing evidence" of fraud, according to the filing. A federal grand jury in Norfolk, Virginia, refused to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James for alleged mortgage fraud on Thursday, sources said, rejecting the Department of Justice's attempt to refile the case just ten days after a federal judge dismissed an earlier case based on the unlawful appointment of the U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. The grand jury's return of a "no true bill" in the case marked an extraordinary rebuke by average citizens of the Department of Justice's attempt to bring charges against James, an adversary of President Donald Trump who has been the target of his repeated calls for prosecution. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/grand-jury-rejects-dojs-attempt-to-revive-fraud-case-against-letitia-james-sources/ar-AA1RJXBN?ocid=BingNewsSerp Trump's DOJ can't even get an indictment much less a conviction. nine
Trump has done all sorts of shit that's flagrantly illegal......actions that are supported by tons and tons evidence because Trump is too dumb and myopic to cover his tracks. And whenever Trump has been held accountable for his own actions, he and his supporters whined about the judicial system being weaponized. Now Trump's lapdog DOJ is filing frivolous nuisance lawsuits against his political adversaries.....lawsuits where federal prosecutors are so stunningly incompetent and ignorant, they can't even get grand jury indictments because their allegations have no basis in reality. Never mind a complete lack of evidence....Trump's hand-picked buffoons can't even convince a grand jury to move the case forward because their story is so flimsy and frivolous. The phrase "a prosecutor could persuade a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich" means that grand juries almost always agree with prosecutors, easily returning indictments because they only hear one side (the prosecution's) and need only find probable cause, not guilt, making the system a rubber stamp for charges, as famously stated by former NY Judge Sol Wachtler. They couldn't even get the grand jury to agree.....lol MadMax, IsntLifeFunny, Omar, and 2 others

OILERMAN
The grand jury also failed to indict Andrew McCabe in Trump's first term. Trump also fired McCabe a day before he was set to get his pension. Of course McCabe sued and won his pensions and benefits back. These weaponizing of the DOJ by Trump should be massive scandals resulting in removal from office but for Trump it's just another day as president. Popular Post OILERMAN
I've posted this many times. Although Trump and his goons are the most corrupt politicians in history, it's not their worst trait. They are the biggest bunch of incompetent morons to ever set foot in office. If they weren't such imbeciles they'd pose a much greater threat. It's obvious to everyone, including his supporters. They are simply in denial and morons themselves IsntLifeFunny, Omar, Starkiller, and 3 others

Jamalisms
Statistically, Comey will be indicted eventually if they just keep trying. At some point you have to have the stars align. Of course, then they have to go to trial and it all dies there; probably gets thrown out for obvious reasons. But an indictment is theoretically possible if they never stop trying. And these things matter to the dumbest motherfuckers. MadMax, and Mythos27

A grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia, rejected federal prosecutors’ latest attempt to charge James, according to a person familiar with the proceedings granted anonymity to discuss the matter. A grand jury in Norfolk, Virginia, turned down an indictment against James last week. Jamalisms
What you guys fail to understand is that when they keep trying over and over and over and eventually stumble into an indictment ... it'll prove the entire thing a worthwhile, justified endeavor. And it'll prove James is guilty. Mythos27
