Listening to the Callahan radio show and Taylor Zarzour mentioned Cam Ward sat next to Brian Callahan during the entire duration of the flight home from Denver and they were deep in discussion reviewi

Callahan desperately needs a good offensive showing and a competent competitive well coached game, he's had a worse week than Charlie Kirk

Yes.  Nothing was as bad as Sunday from a coaching perspective.  Nothing even close.

Did you miss the first half of the seasons st plays culminating in the ST cosch saying, "i thought they knew how to play".

Some poor playcalling and not knowing a pretty basic rule isnt good, but that comment above.... is legendary levels of fail.

That wasn’t coaching malpractice.  That was just guys not being good enough.

You all know me.  It takes me a lot to turn on the coach or QB while they’re on the roster.  I never turned on any of the coaches like this, even Mularkey who I couldn’t stand after the fact.

I like Callahan.  He’s a good guy.  But two days later I haven’t gotten over what happened Sunday.  As far as how I feel about Callahan as a head coach.

It was a tough out, and i get it. He also doesn't get the benefit of it being his first year anymore. Anyone would be lying if they said they didnt expect more by now. But the trurtg is unless something truly unbelievable happens he is safe for now snd going to have plenty of opportunities to prove you right or wrong.

Hopefully you have to eat some crow down the road.

He's a young head coach with a rookie QB. PATIENCE is a virtue in a "I want it now" world. Give both guys some time because it's going to take time.  We're trying to build something that will last a while.

The guys been around the league for 30+ years. How much more time does he need to learn the rule book?

Fair enough but 1 year of HC experience doesn't make a career. I'm just saying give the guy a chance. 1 year with one of the worst rosters in the league, with one of the worst QB's in the league isn't a fair chance. I think it takes at least two to three years to make a legitimate evaluation.

I'm not saying he can't turn it around.  Sunday was unacceptable, however.  The end of half sequence and not knowing the elbow rule are indefensble IMO.

Question 1 Do you ever screw up?

Question 2 Do you learn from your mistake?
