Did you miss the first half of the seasons st plays culminating in the ST cosch saying, "i thought they knew how to play". Some poor playcalling and not knowing a pretty basic rule isnt good, but that comment above.... is legendary levels of fail.

scine09
You all know me. It takes me a lot to turn on the coach or QB while they’re on the roster. I never turned on any of the coaches like this, even Mularkey who I couldn’t stand after the fact. I like Callahan. He’s a good guy. But two days later I haven’t gotten over what happened Sunday. As far as how I feel about Callahan as a head coach. Edited September 9, 2025 by scine09 TerryBoats, TheBukafax, and IsntLifeFunny

Anyone would be lying if they said they didnt expect more by now. But the trurtg is unless something truly unbelievable happens he is safe for now snd going to have plenty of opportunities to prove you right or wrong. They were never winning anything this season anyway. I'm also encouraged by how well the rookies are playing, the defense actually causing turnovers, and STs looks to be fixed for lack of a better word. My biggest concern is that Callahan isn't a guy who will be able to grow into the role. There is a legit concern imo that Callahan just isn't ready, even though I really like some of the coaches on staff. If Cally can show growth and the roster continues to improve, I think that would be the best case scenario for this team, especially if Ward and the Oline/recievers start to gel as the season goes on. He's a young head coach with a rookie QB. PATIENCE is a virtue in a "I want it now" world. Give both guys some time because it's going to take time. We're trying to build something that will last a while. Pragidealist, Tex in a Can, 10 A See, and 2 others 4

How much more time does he need to learn the rule book? IsntLifeFunny

I'm just saying give the guy a chance. 1 year with one of the worst rosters in the league, with one of the worst QB's in the league isn't a fair chance. I think it takes at least two to three years to make a legitimate evaluation. Edited September 10, 2025 by freakingeek

The end of half sequence and not knowing the elbow rule are indefensble IMO. IsntLifeFunny

Downtown
I’m happy to ride it out with Callahan, regardless of wins. Would actually love a 4 win season to definitely close the book either way and also draft some elite talent.
